50,000 miles for southwest visa

If you already have a southwest visa. There is a link available on upper right hand side after logging in to refer friends so they can get 50,000 miles, all you need is the e-mail address to refer.
 
Can you elaborate on where you're talking about? I was actually looking for a 50,000 point link tonight for my mom and it looked to me like the only thing available right now is the 25,000 point offer. We were going to just wait it out, but if I can refer her and have her also get the 50,000 point offer that would be great!

ETA: never mind, found this link that works for referrals - it gives you and your friend a bonus, and gives your friend the 50,000 point offer

That link didn't work for me. Where is the referral normally found? I have someone to refer.
 

I can't find it either and I have a friend who has been looking for the 50,000 offer:sad1:.
 
According to the blog where I found the link I posted above, the link will only work if you have the Premier card (the one with the $99 annual fee). So that could be your issue. You may not be able to refer others if you have the Plus card with the $69 annual fee? I'm not positive on all of it, so don't take my word on it, but that is what it sounds like.

I have the Premier card but I got this message when I entered my info using the link above:

"This Promotion is currently being tested and only eligible customers will be able to get through the authentication screen to refer a friend. Make sure you entered your information exactly as it appears on your account. If you feel you've received this message in error please call the number on the back of your card for assistance."

I wonder if my account is too new to qualify; I got it less than 2 months ago.
 
Hi does anyone have experience on how long it would take for email to be sent to the referral? I filled it out yesterday and I am anxious!

For some reason it seems like I read somewhere it can take up to a week. I sent one to my mom on Friday and she hasn't gotten hers yet - I'll update when she does.
 
I received referral cards in the mail to refer people for the 50K pts -- I only have the "regular $69" card.
 
Sorry, but we can't do that on these boards. See the sticky above:

"Please do not post any links where you (or someone else) may personally benefit and do not post any request to receive a referral. We have had to remove hundreds of such posts on the Budget Board (with only a warning), but will begin issuing infractions for any future referral violations. I got the same message, both with my account and my husbands. He does have the premier. I wish it worked, I have someone who wants to get the card, but it appears I can't refer her.

I don't think anyone here has been asking to receive a referral OR sending anyone information to be referred. We've been discussing where we can find information in our existing accounts. Nobody is referring anyone, or requesting a referral.

Does anyone know about restrictions for using the miles toward flights? I would like to use them toward flights next year, and we'll be flying home on the Saturday before Labor Day - a holiday weekend. Will that a problem?

It says the email can take up to a week. But, for a real example, I sent one to my mom on Friday night and she got her email yesterday evening. So about 4 days for me.

RR points have no blackout dates. If there are seats available on a flight, you can use your points to purchase them.
