5 years 5 WDW vacations

5 trips in 5 years!!! Never imagined this could happen. In fact last year DFi and his mom decided we were taking a Disney break... That was until a friend of ours went and posted a weeks worth of Dis pics on FB. No complaining from me, I was heartbroken when they made the decision to take a break so I immediately started looking at prices, to be honest I had been pricing all along but they don't need to know that lol!! So we started looking and pricing back in May. We knew we wanted to go in the fall and started looking at Labor Day week. They own a small business so it made sense to go when they'd already be closed for a day. So we went from taking a break to booking a trip in a matter of days!! Best part of Labor Day week, free dining!!! So we're booked for September 2 - 8th. I know for some this is a shorter trip but it will be our longest! 7 disney days!!!

So introductions!!

I'm Angie or Geee as DFi calls me, my first trip was in October 2009 for DFi's 21st. It was a birthday gift from his mom and the start to an obsession/fascination with all things Disney!!!

DFi aka Tank is my soulmate. He loves disney as much as I do and has a few more trips under his belt than I do. He's really easy going about everything and let's me do the majority of the planning with a quick once over before anything is final.

His mom aka Vicki aka DMiL. I know most people would die vacaying with their mother in law but she actually is fun to have along. She's not so into thrill rides but loves Mickey more than anyone I've ever met!

This year for the first time tank's friend, mike aka mosco aka sco, is joining us. He's gone with his family bi they do Disney much different than us. Rope drop to close every day with a "nap" at a value resort.

Tank and I have always stayed at the wilderness lodge. That may change some year, but not this one... Lol

So in 28 days we will be on our way to disney! Usually we head to the airport for the first flight to MCO, but this year the first available non-stop from PHL is at 10 am, which is a very late start for us. But since we're doing 7 days this year it's ok I think. We'll get into MCO around noon-ish and head to DME. Hoping to get checked in and ready to head to the park by 1:30 or 2.

We've made it a tradition that Spaceship Earth is our first ride every year so off to EPCOT we shall go!! We'll probably hop on SSE and then head to the land for lunch at sunshine seasons! I've had sooo many people recommend it that we can't not go!! Then we'll do whatever we feel like till we head to the Poly for dinner at Ohana,our favorite!!! Then hop on the monorail to head to MK for wishes. I bought the Wishes! album on iTunes and it brings me to tears, I love it soo much!

Day 2 will be MK. we'll pose for a million pics in front of the castle (I'll be crying in at least 3 of them). We all love magic kingdom sooo much!! Some must do's are Carousel of progress, space mountain, splash mountain, pirates, big thunder mountain, dumbo and Peter Pan. Other than those we usually just wander and stop at anything we feel like. I'm really sad that jungle cruise will be refurbed while we're there. And space mountain will be down for about half of our trip. Dinner Tuesday will be at Whispering Canyon Cafe which is always a blast!! Then maybe DTD or MK again for more wishes. Also waiting for the celebrate the magic schedule for that week to make final nighttime plans.

Has anyone done the photopass attractions? We spend sooo much money on the pictures for the rides. Do they give you all the borders you get if you bought the print from them? Where did you go to get them printed when you got home?

Have you ever watched wishes from the beach at poly? I've been reading about a lot of people doing this but I love the atmosphere on Main Street I don't know if I could pull myself away.

I found a bit of info about the attractions plus. It's the same quality as the ride prints and if you want to print them 8 x 10 you can ask them to format them to that size so they print right! Your trip is sooo soon. Ours is 16 days and I'm freaking out!!!

14 days!!! I'm dying. We've been watching tons of disney movies lately, I was hoping it would help but it's just making me more anxious. We ordered new suitcases that will be here Wednesday so I can start packing!!! Can't wait to be in the most magical place on earth!!!

Middle of the night ADR freak out. Just realized how early (for us) some of our ADRs are... Changed 2 of them to later times. Have 2 more I'd like to change but the app started freezing so I'll have to wait for morning. What was I thinking 6:30 dinners... We'd never make it lol

11 days!! New suitcases came in so I already packed everything I won't need before the trip. Tank will probably wait until the night before like always. I was able to change one more of our ADRs. Still have an early dinner at San angel inn but I think we'll keep it that way because its extra magic hours in epcot that night so we'll have more park time with the earlier dinner.

On a mostly non disney note I found my ancient iPod nano the other night and after charging it up I couldn't figure out how to turn it off. So I googled it and stumbled upon a recall notice so I applied and they already sent the box and are processing the replacement. So if you have a 1st generation iPod nano google it and see if yours is affected. They're replacing them with 6th generation 8 GB ones. Hope it comes in in time for our flight!

Just made pirates league ressies for tank and mike! I'm so excited. I'm gonna surprise them with it that morning and hope they don't hate me. Lol

Holy crap 9 days!!!! I've accepted that its really just me talking to myself here but I think my fiancée may kill me if I squeal excitedly at him too much more so I need some sort of outlet lol!
