$5 Tangled coupon now live

I got my newspaper ads today, so here are a few more deals I found.

Toys R Us is 32.99 for the 3D Blu-Ray Combo Pack, the 2 disc Blu-Ray is 27.99, and the DVD is 18.99. You get a Disney Tangled Canvas Wall Art retailed at 7.99.

Kmart has no price listed :confused3, but the ad says buy a Blu-ray combo pack and you get a Free Rapunzel doll valued at 14.99. The doll is the size of a barbie doll.

I didn't get a wal-mart ad this week for some reason.

What does the Target ad say?

The Target ad was the same as someone posted earlier.

4 disc combo pack-24.99
Blu-Ray- 19.99
DVD- 15.99

So aside from all the extras you get when purchasing, Target seems like the best deal if you want the 4 pack. It'll end up being 19.99 with the Disney coupon and you get a digital copy. Some people say you can sell the 3D copy for $5 on ebay or Craigslist if you don't need it.

ETA: From the wording on the ad, it looks like the $5 coupon Target is advertising on target.com will be the Disney coupon.

Best Buy ad scan is up on Slick Deals.

$14.99 -DVD
$19.99 -Blu Ray/DVD Combo
$24.99 AFTER $5 Disney coupon -3D Blu Ray 4-Disc set

Get a free Pascal plush toy when you purchase 3D combo set or Blu Ray combo set.

Hmm, may need to see the Pascal toy first...my DDs are totally into the stuffed animals.

bummer...does TRUs price-match? I forget. I have $5/$25 for TRUs + $5 DMR coupon.

I did get the Target Spring coupon book but mine does NOT have the Disney movie coupon:mad:

Walmart on-line preorder was $29.99 I believe.

Thank you! I have to get at least 2 Tangled movies, so I think I will for sure do the Kmart deal as the only thing my DSD asked for her 6th birthday was a Rapunzel doll. The only way this wouldn't be a "good deal" for me would be if the movie was $39.99 or more... I was one of the "lucky" ones :cool1: and I got the Target coupon book so I do have the $5 off coupon for Target, so I'm guessing I'll be getting one copy from Target and one from Kmart! :thumbsup2

Now, I just need to decide if I'm only going to get 2 copies, one for our house and one for my DSD's birthday for her mom's house. My oldest DD asked for the movie for her birthday also, as it is her favorite princess movie. I just have a hard time buying 2 for the same house. Maybe I'll have Grandma pick it up for her!

The coupon at target.com/movies takes you to the disney movie rewards site. Too bad it wasnt a target coupon too.

I updated the first post to reflect the various national deals. Let me know if I missed something so I can fix it. Also, my Walmart ad didn't have Tangled in it so if someone finds out what they will be selling it for, let me know so I can add it.

But the 24.99 price at Target reflects the 5.00 coupon already...correct? That's what another poster said the ad showed (in small type). I pre-ordered the 4 disc set from Amazon last year when they had the 8.00 coupon and it shipped out for delivery on Monday or Tuesday....YAY. I got it for 21.99 after the coupon, free shipping and no tax. No freebies but then my girls already have the dolls, the different color Disney Pascals...etc.

Thats not how I am reading it. It says its 24.99 for the 4-Disc combo pack and also lists the prices of the BR/DVD and the DVD and then at the bottom of the whole Tangled box it says "Get a $5 off coupon for the Tangled 4-disc combo pack! Go to target.com/movies for details". It doesn't say anywhere that the 24.99 price already reflects the coupon so I am assuming its 24.99 before the coupon. :thumbsup2

I totally read it the same way, nowhere does it say 'after $5 Disney coupon'. Hold on to your Target ad incase they are out of it, Walmart and Best Buy will price match if you have the ad.

Good point! Especially since its for the 3D version only (the coupon that is). Somehow I doubt they will get a lot of copies of the 3-D version (even though that is what the coupon is for) since not a ton of people have 3-D TVs.

Wow, just $5 off? I thought I was getting ripped off when I reluctantly took the $8 off coupon I got through Amazon.com.

That's a good deal then....oh well, I'm still happy with my Amazon deal I suppose. Saved me on gas, tax and we wouldn't have used the little Golden book anyway.

Has anyone else had Best Buy not take the Disney coupons? Last time I tried, I was told Best Buy was not one of the "official" resellers and they wouldn't take my coupon, so I went to Target instead.

I am so disappointed with the $5 off coupon. I was hoping for $10 off. And then the coupon isn't even for the combo pack I want to purchase. Most of us don't need a 3d blu-ray copy. I hope this was just a test to see who purchases it and that Disney will go back to $10 off coupons and start offering more coupon options for those of us who don't want a 3d blu-ray copy.

A Christmas Carol was only good on 3d as well (though it was $10 off). I think the coupons will only be good for the 3d version if that is an option.

Funny I had the exact opposite happen, Best Buy always takes my coupons but Target wouldn't take my computer printed coupon, they said they didn't take printed coupons. Guess it just depends on the cashier.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones that got the $5 target coupon in the mail. If I use the Target coupon for $5 and the Disney $5 coupon I can get the 4 disc set for $14.99. I don't really need the 3-d version, but it is cheaper than the plain dvd version with the coupons!

Best Buy is an official reseller but will/won't take the coupon depending on th store. My closest one will take the coupon but put the price back up to full price first and then uses the coupon since the coupon says 9 not valid with any other discounts0. they take that as they can't give you the sale price and the coupon discount. target always takes it.

No problem with internet printed Disney Blu-ray coupons at Target, Walmart or the 2 times I've used one at Best Buy. Toys R Us, however, claims they don't take them. I forget which movie (Snow White maybe?) was in their ad telling you to go online to get the coupon and then showing the sale price with the coupon and even after pointing that out to the cashier AND a manager, they said they'd "take the coupon just this once" :sad2:
