$5 Tangled coupon now live

The first coupon I used was for Snow white and I went to Waltmart. I took it to the register and the cashier look at me and said this coupon is for "snow white and the 7 dwarfs" and I see you only picked up the Snow white combo pack so we can't use it you need to buy the 7 dwarfs movie too! When I point out that it was one movie all I could think is what kind of childhood she had!

After purchasing Tangled at Target I got a coupon print out for $3 off a blue ray or combo pack priced $29.99 or higher. Hopefully I can use it for an upcoming release!!

BTW, if anybody goes to Target to get theirs and they are out of the 3-D, ask them if they have any in back. I have read from other boards that they may not be putting all of them out but have extras in the back.

Looks like bestbuy.com is price matching Target and is now showing Tangled 3D 4 disc combo for $24.99 before coupon. However, in my experience with going into the store to use the coupon, you have to get them to price match themselves because the in store price is usually the original stated price.

I usually just pull it up on my smartphone for the cashier to see and then they apply the price match and the manufacture's coupon. They've given me dirty looks before, but I've never not walked out of my Best Buy without getting it for the right price.

I needed to go to BB this morning anyway, so I decided to get Tangled there. I didn't want the 3-d version, so I got the regular Blu-Ray+DVD pack. I was there within an hour of the store opening and all the stuffed Pascals were already gone. The cashier said they only got 10 of them! That is ridiculous, IMO. We don't live in a huge city, but it's the only BB for 50 miles and the area has well over 100k residents. It's not that I care so much about having the thing, but if they lure customers in with the promise of a promotional item, they ought to have more than 10. I won't buy DVDs at BB any more. Last time they wouldn't take my Disney coupon, now this. I'm done.

Went to Target this morning. They didn't have any 4discs, wouldn't honor the coupons for the 2 disc. Drove over to Best Buy. They have their 4disc on sale for $24.99! Used my $5 off and happy kids. Sure could of used that other $5 off though.

I just wanted to let anyone who pre-ordered it at Amazon ages ago know to check their accounts. I pre-ordered mine months ago when it was $29.99 but with an $8 coupon you had to click to get.

They got rid of the coupon but lowered the price on the 4-disc set to $24.99. Since that was still above my paid price I figured that they wouldn't do anything about the pre-order price guarantee, but they DID honor it and I got a $5 refund today bringing the price down to $16.99
