This is very fitting, as this will very likely be the first dance for my wedding (the He'll Make Me Happy portion). It's so fitting for us and this is my favorite movie.

5. Ready, Set, Don't Go- Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus
I grew up listening to country, and Achy Breaky Heart is one of the songs I remember singing to in the car with my mom and dad. And I love that Disney now has Miley as a role model for young girls. And now, this song is going to be the song for the father/daughter dance at my wedding in August. I'm SO daddy's little girl :cutie:

And for good measure:

I love the Beach Boys version (and even more so that it's used for "Big Love") but the opening to Saved! really made me fall in love with this song again.

My mom loves Billy Joel and it was always on in the house. And he's now the topic for one of my school papers.

Before this song became popular, I was in love with it from the cd. I listen to it and bawl every time. :sad1:

9. Kokomo- Beach Boys
Honestly, this is the FIRST song I ever remember listening to. I sang it over and over and over. It's even recorded in my "first year" baby book as the song that I always wiggled to. And I'm in love with both the Beach Boys and the beach in general. My dream is to someday go to some of the places mentioned.

and

1. Power in the Blood sung by Dolly Parton
We went to her show in Branson. (I can't think of what it's called right now.) Saw her religious cd & thought, why not? I don't listen to it very often though.

2. Jesus Loves Me sung by the Cedarmont Kids

I teach at a Christian school & this is a standard song. Actually, I've never listened to it in class though! My kids are 3rd graders & we usually do more contemporary music.

3. Honestly by Stryper

I have no idea what this song is. My DH like Stryper (not sure I know any of their songs, but their CD is on my ipod).

4. Hooray for Hollywood from WDW Happiest Celebration CD

I have this one just b/c it's Disney!
