Does anyone know which resort has suites that will accomodate 2 adults and 3 children (11, 9, 8)? My friend is wanting to go when we go next May but insists that there is no WDW resort that will allow them to have all 5 of them together without having to stay at an expensive resort. She said they don't want a room with just 2 beds - she'd rather have a larger suite-like room (picky-picky). I suggest adjoining rooms. Any other suggestions?

THANK YOU!

Well then she probably needs to suck it up and spend the money for a suite in a deluxe or 2 bedroom villa. However, POR has rooms with 2 doubles and a trundle. But your best reccommendation would be a FW cabin. It sleeps 6, 4 in the bedroom and 2 in the living room.

It might be possibly to get a delux room at one of the deluxe resorts for cheaper than two rooms elsewhere. At least then you'd have a larger room and a day bed. I've heard mixed reviews of the cabins and they seem to be expensive but that will probably be the best way to go.

we were very comfortable in connecting rooms at pop century... it felt "suite-like" but better in that we had the second bathroom (and tv, which came in handy when we were confined to quarters during hurricane frances)! i would definitely recommend two connecting rooms as a first choice... next suggestion would be cabins at FW... after that, a room at a deluxe, which can get costly... good luck!

ETA: ooh! just thought of this... how 'bout renting dvc points? that would be a reasonable way to get a suite-like room!

Not necessarily a resort, but there's plenty of room in the cabins at Ft. Wilderness. There would also be the convenience of coffee maker, microwave, stove and refrigerator in case you wanted a cold one after a day in the park.

In the deluxes, I know that the contemporary and the Poly will definitely sleep 5 comfortably. Both have 2 queens and a twin size "day bed". We have stayed with our family in both many times. I know they are both deluxes. I assume GF and Boardwalk will sleep 5 in standard size rooms as well, but I believe the daybed at Boardwalk is not a full twin, rather a smaller size (kid size). I believe the deluxes at AKL have extra day bed as well (not full twin either).
We have never minded all being in one room, even with teens and when the kids were the age of her kids, we were very comfortable.

Disney suites are expensive.

so are the DVC resorts.

She can rent from a DVC member and save some money. but still I really think 2 rooms at the Pop century will definitely be better moneywise.

the 2-bedroom OKW in May Sun-thurs will be $270 per night renting from a member. $590 for this room renting directly from WDW.

for $99 per room at Pop Century she could do better there renting 2 rooms.

My vote would be for the Cabins at Ft. Wilderness. The extra cost over two rooms at a value resort is easily made up eating breakfast in your room. And the additional space is great.

Just got back from Coronado Springs, we used the Jr. Suite and fit 6 comfortably.
