5 people in 1 room???

Can 2 adults and 3 kids ages 15,13 & 6 fit comfortably in a standard room at RPR? We stayed at the Beach Club this year and the room size was fine with the day bed. I really don't want to spend the extra $$$ on a 2nd room. We really like the look of RPR, even though the Portofino is bigger.
Is the roll-away bed comfortable to sleep on???

The standard room at RPR is 335sq.ft.The room seems bigger tho.We have done 5 here and the rollaway is commfy.With the parks,CW and the pool the only time you will feel crowded is when you get ready for bed and get ready in the morning.The good thing tho is the shower and toilet are in a seperate room.There is A vanity with sink separate.

Forgot to add they have suites there also.There is A bedroom area and A living room,very spacious.
I have stayed at all 3 and RPR is by far my fav.

We spent seven days last December with 5 people. DH and myself plus three boys 14, 10, 7. We brought a twin size air mattress instead and put it between the window and the bed. When no one was sleeping on it we stood it up against the wall out of the way. A lot easier to do than with a roll away and probably more comfortable. We brought a sheet set but they gave us blankets and pillows for it. Also, we didn't spend a whole lot of time in the room but when we did it was definitely manageable. Save your money for all the yummy restaurants and souvies!

I didn't see the suites on Loews website, do I have to call?

The King suites are only for 3 people, so would need to be the Kids themed suite, which i think are quite expensive,

I changed my reservations around in July past, as one of the weeks i had planned for RPR, turned out to be cheaper to stay at PBH

Just my opinion, but 5 in a room in a group that includes 2 adults and 2 teens is pushing it. I have done it though. We stayed at Cedar Point out in Ohio and I decided to have 5 in a room so we could afford concierge at the Breakers. (I was sort of counting on using the lounge for "space" if we needed it, to watch TV or read, etc. NEVER again we all agreed after the trip.

2 problems, one being the single bathroom. We had a problem with this, some of the kids would even run to the lobby to use the bathrooms if someone (like DH) was tying up the bathroom for too long. Another problem is 5 people agreeing to lights off at the same time...... and let's not even get into the snoring/ "he is breathing too loud" arguments.

We are a family of with similar ages as you (16, 15, 6) and stayed at RPR in Sept. I brought nap mats and blankets and made a pallet on the floor for the 6 yo. I placed them between the closet dresser. It worked out good and was out of the way.
AS far as getting ready in the morning, I am an early riser so I got up first nad showered then my DH would get in and while he was in the bathroom, I'd get the 6 yo ready. We stayed CL, so the three of would head down for breakfast while the teenagers got ready.The snoring was an issue but we all survived.

Thanks for all the great advice! Now I just have to convince DH that we should stay in 1 standard club room, instead of 2 standard non-club rooms. He's more interested in the space and I like the idea of the food & drinks.
