I am wanting each child to have their own bed to sleep in, me on a mattress on the floor - can I get 2 rooms at Pop if the oldest is 15? I will have a 9, 12, 13 and the 15 with me - can I book 2 rooms under my name?

Yes, you can book under 1 name and even under 1 reservation. However, the rooms are not guaranteed to be connecting rooms (even if the CM on the phone tells you they are). That is the route we are going from now on. We are a family a 6 and tried staying in a family suite at All-Star Music. We did not like making the kids sleep on uncomfortable pull-outs. So we are going to book 2 rooms at POP and "risk" not getting connecting rooms.

Just as added anecdote; we've booked 2 rooms (at values) a lot of times, and it has been rare to get connecting rooms (we have indeed had them, but a small percentage), but they did really good many times giving us adjoining rooms, and there have been sometimes we've been separated by several rooms, but have been in the same building/on the same floor. So, if you are ok with that, then go for it! Usually they do everything they can for families with younger kids to get those connecting rooms for you, but it obviously doesn't always work.

Call Disney instead of trying to book online. I don't think you will be able to book two rooms online, it will want to book each one separately and have a person over 18 registered in each room. Tell them you have one adult and four minor children and you need two rooms under the same reservation number, then request connecting rooms. it's still not absolutely guaranteed that you'll get connecting rooms though.

Each reservation must be headed by a person age 18 or over. That isn't the same thing as each room requiring someone over 18 to actually be in the room. (This is why the OP needs two rooms under the same reservation number).

Doesn’t each room require someone over 18 in it?

They will let one adult with 4+ minors book 2 rooms via phone. I don't know why they do it as they won't guarantee connecting rooms. I've seen multiple posts here over the years of major issues when families of 5+ guests with 1 adult showing up to find no connecting rooms available.
