5 park hopper and using Disney transport - help

We have old style hopper plus tickets.

My son loves the monorail, can we ride the monorail on a different day to using the hopper plus ticket, or can we only use Disney transport on the days we visit an actual park? I don't want to waste a ticket by mistake.


My plan was on one of our rest days, to go to the chef Mickeys for breakfast and then take a ride up front on the monorail, without visiting one of the parks.

I'm sure lots of you know the answer to this. We are staying off site.

You will be fine to ride it

I would think you'll be able to use the monorail without using a day from your hopper.

The day is subtracted when you go through the turnstiles into the theme parks. You get on/off the monorail before going through the turnstile so you should be OK.

You'll be fine, as others have said! Have fun.

Did you know you can ask to ride up front with the driver? You will have more luck with this at non peak times (ie asking at the MK stop when the hordes are leaving MK at park closure is not the best time, LOL)
