Interesting . . What are the top 3 reasons why the Treasure is one and done for you? Just curious! Thanks.
1. The venues are so small. Too small for the size of ship and number of people. Good luck getting into anything without arriving 30-40 minutes early. This includes trivia, karaoke, learn to draw, etc. We “rope dropped” Haunted Mansion parlor by arriving 1/2 hour before it opened and lining up to get a seat. No family silent disco because they lack the venue for it.
2. The pools are tiny and have wonky hours. We had multiple beach excursions and that saved us. When my 9 & 11 year old are saying the pools suck, I know it’s not working for my family.
3. Uncharted Adventures game is incredibly glitchy. We really missed the interactive games on the Dream, the one with the Muppets and the Villains. We all have iPhones and quickly gave up because it didn’t work properly.
The ship is gorgeous. Beautiful finishes and theming. But the layout and lack of spaces for the number of people was a misstep.
We had late dining and didn’t find that it helped to provide any relief from crowds.
On the upside, the food was incredible. All 3 rotational dining restaurants were great, although we were crammed at 1923. We preferred the pool deck food over Marceline Market lunches (whispers “Cabana’s food variety is better than Marceline Market”)
Looking forward to our sailing on the Magic in November and definitely want to book the Dream’s sister ship the Fantasy. I had considered sailing the Wish but our family agreed no more Wish class ships, it was a let down.
