5 mile walk for Diabetes

WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!! I found a five mile walk to benefit Diabetes!!!!! I can't wait!!!! It is October 5. My late father had diabetes for many many years!!! My DFIL also has it!!!! It will be a year in August that we lost my Father. I can't think of a better way to honor his memory than to do this walk in OCtober!!!! AN e-mail is going out soon or already has to my entire address book!!! . I can't wait until this walk!!!! THis one is for you DAD!!!!

Is this a national thing, or only your local Diabetes organization? My great grandmother had diabetes and my mom was just diagnosed. My 9 yr old dd did the "Swim for Diabetes" last year (she did ONE lap!) And it's really fitting in hindsight since my mom was just diagnosed.

I'd love to participate if you have anymore info to share about it.

Go to Diabetes walk pick you state and hit submit. It should show you if there are any walks in your state and when!!! Good Luck!!
