I love Monsters Inc.!!!! I also love sleepovers in the living room, but my new couch is not comfy enough for that

I'm trying to pick movies we haven't necessarily seen in a while so it makes the evening that much more fun. You can sometimes forget just how good they are!

I'd forgotten we had the headbanz, they definately added the silly factor to the theme.

I love that movie!! I think that's a movie night theme I could pull off. But you definitely still had to put some work into it - all those downloads... Well done!

That is a big drawback to wishing our trip sooner, it means the summer is gone Google Images is my friend for these theme nights!

Another great movie night Tracy, well done, we love Monsters, and how fun a little sleepover. I'm storing that idea for later. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ariana's tinkerbelle shirt. I love blue and green together like that, it is so pretty. and she looks pretty in it of course Can't wait to see whats next

SURPRISE!!!!!!
We did our movie night last night since Eryka is in the talent show tonight!!!

This week was Emma's pick and if you have been reading then I'm sure you can guess what she chose

Emma LOVES Ariel

She came prepared for this night

That's her baby Ariel!

The table had an assortment of sea creatures and treasure

So for dinner I was boring and just had shell pasta

We did have sauce on it but I made 2 sauces (I don't like Tomato sauce so I also made Alfredo and let them choose) So I took the picture before I put the sauce on

During dinner we had a game of Princess Bingo

Eryka won 3 times and Emma won twice

For dessert I made water with fish (blue jello with gummy fish in it)

Let me tell you I was very excited about this dessert as we love jello and anything gummy, but a warning to anyone who uses our ideas, the fish did not turn out so good in the jello. When we put the spoon in the fish kinda crumbled and had a really gross texture. They almost reminded me of those toys that you put in a cup of water and they grow... it was really bad and they all got thrown out. Next time I will make the Jello and just have the fish on the side

Next the kids had a treasure hunt. They were given a map

and they had a treasure chest that they were supposed to decorate to put the treasure in, but they weren`t really into decorating them (I think they liked them the way they were)

Then we watched the movie, took down the chain and they went to bed almost an hour late

All in all it was a good night!!!

Today is the talent show at Eryka`s school. I will have pictures for sure and hopefully a video!!!

oh the little Mermaid My favorite is "Part of your World" I use to belt that in the shower as a teen, lol

Very fun movie night, when we serve red and white sauce we mix them together, it is very good together, yummo

It sure was a surprise reading about your movie night earlier then usual!!

What an awesome idea for dessert - it's a shame about the fish crumbling. Love the treasure map and look forward to seeing Eryka's talent show pics!

The sleepover was very fun... actually a few times I thought Ariana had fallen asleep she was snuggled in there so well. The Tinkerbelle jammies were the ones I'd picked out for myself for our November trip but turned out to be super small -- she loves the shiny buttons on them

Ya the dessert sucked but the chocolate coins they found in the treasure hunt helped them forget about it

Eryka did a fabulous job!!! That song is soooo hard to sing and she was GREAT!! The cheers at the end were wonderful.



Loved your Little Mermaid night! We haven't seen that movie in ages and it would be a really great one to do here.....

Part of Your World is a song that when Ariana was little, if you sang it to her she would be transfixed and would stop whatever she was doing to listen to you. : Now if you sing it, she just says "stop singing!"
