5 foot castle "wall scene" ...

Has anyone ever used these "Scene Setters" they look like giant stickers that are 5 ft. tall and I want to nkow if they worked, do they stay up? were they hard to put up? Any input of thoughts?... THANKS!!

I used one for a father/daughter dance in the school's library. It is like a giant plastic tablecloth and not at all hard to use. (Think dollar store table cloth.) HTH.

So it would not be good for a long term use? I was hoping it would work in my daughters tink room. (purple walls, castle, Tink flying over the castle)

I used the Cars ones for my DS's birthday. To mount it on the wall, we used re-positionable stencil adhesive (in a spray can, you can find it at Michaels).

We ended up leaving it up for a couple of months and it didn't start coming off or anything.

Where do you get these? It sounds perfect for DD's room since I promised her a Princess room when we move next year.

I got mine at Party City. It was for a Girl Scout Father/Daughter dance so not for long term use. It is like a tablecloth, but I don't see why you couldn't leave it up long term.

Last year we had a princess theme for dd's 3rd birthday. I got the huge scene setter with all the princesses that said happy birthday. It was pretty easy to put up, but you definitely need at least 2 people because of the size. It is very thin plastic. You can buy a small package of blue "putty" adhesive right at party city. You put small dots of it at corners and along edges here and there. It works really well and does not harm the walls.

We also got the castle that is the width of a door. It has been hanging on dd's door for over a year and is still fine.

One other suggestion....at Walmart in the paint section they sell Disney pieces that are made for this purpose. They come in a package like a wallpaper border, but are cutouts. They aren't very expensive. I believe they have Tink. They also carry some of these at AC Moore.
