hi guys, I've been to WDW 5 times, but never to DLP this will be my first trip I'm going the last weekend of march (for 4 nights and 5 days). I wanted to ask you: your 5 essential tips for DLP newbies... it can be anything... from budget, to the best place to eat, to a must do attraction, etc ANYTHING ;) thank you in advance:cool1:

I can't see when you are going as i can't see your ticker on my mobile internet, but you might be there at the same time as i am. As for 5 tips, hmm...

1) Big Thunder Mountain in the dark, its even more fun!
2) Always walk with your eyes open. I know it sounds obvious, but if not you'll miss so much.
3) If budget allows eat at california grill.
4) Don't plan excessively, just where you want to eat and any shows/parades. Then go with the flow.
5) If in disney hotel use EMH and GMF breakfast if you can.

1. Buy stuff from the train station shop - it's a lot cheaper.
2. BTM in the dark has to be experienced.
3. Don't bother with the shuttle buses to onsite hotels - the walk is nice.
4. Visit the dragon under the Castle.
5. Buy eBay fastpasses if you are going when it is likely to be busy.

Have a great trip! Where are you staying?

I'm staying at the L'Elyseè val d'europe which is not Disney but I still got EMH :) and I'm really near from the shopping centre which I'm planning to buy lots of liters of water :)

We are considering going during this time too. And like the original poster, we have been to WDW 10+ times and want to branch out on our Disney experience!

Here are my questions:

1) What is the weather like during the last week of March into the first week of April? I did a google search on the temps but it's always nice to hear it from DIS folks!

2) What are the crowds like during this time?
