I can't believe I'm just getting to this. I've been lurking around these boards for months, gaining info and learning quite a bit about this magical place we're all headed to at the end of the week.
Who is going? Me, Laura/lolli (39), Dh Carl (43), Ds1 (16), Ds2 (15), Dd (10), my mom Judy (60) and my step dad Hugh (53). It's the first trip for all seven of us. We've been planning this trip for a year and a half.
When? We fly all night November 30th from San Diego, arriving at MCO at 6am Dec. 1. We'll be using Disney transportation starting at the airport.
We are staying in a two-room villa at Old Key West!
Here's our tentative itinerary. I've learned from reading here that the best laid plans are flexible plans! Oh, we have park-hoppers and the DDP. All of our ADR's are for late-ish dinners.
Day 1 - just get there! Since we'll be flying all night and land bright and early we didn't really plan on going to a park as soon as we get there but we'll probably visit MK for a bit later in the day. I like the idea of starting there to really get the Disney experience started. No ADR's for this day.
Day 2 - visit MGM. ADR's at Hollywood Brown Derby, Fantasmic show
Day 3 Visit AK. Bus or monorail to MGM for ADR's at Sci-Fi.
Day 4 - Visit Epcot. ADR's at Rose & Crown Pub. IllumiNations @9:30
Day 5 - brother-in-law and sister-in-law come for a visit today. They live in NC and decided to come visit us and some friends that live in the Orlando area for a few days. No park plans since in-laws can't afford it. ADR's at Cap'n Jacks.
Day 6 - Visit MK. Definitely plan on seeing the castle lighting in the evening if we haven't already on day 1. Monorail to the Poly for ADR's at Ohana.
Day 7 - Horse back riding with my dd at Fort Wilderness Resort in the a.m. (shhh, it's a surpise!) She lives and breathes horses! Ds's will head to DisneyQuest. Later on we might re-visit a park. ADR's at Boma (AK Lodge).
Day 8 - pack up and leave for home
So..what do you think? Did I do ok? What would you change? I also plan on purchasing a LGMH this week so you all that will be there at the same time can recognize me!

Have an amazing time! I'm jealous about the horseback riding. I ride horses usually once a week by me but there is NOOOO getting my mother on a horse when we go down so I'll have to miss out!
