What should I be doing that I'm not?[besides freaking out!]

Making a packing list.
Dusting off your luggage.
Writing a list of rides you want to, um, ride. Shows you want to see.
Charging your camera batteries, making sure you have film or memory cards.
Writing a list of things you want to take pictures of.
Checking out the menus online to find out what you want to eat.

I might be able to come up with more...what are the ages of those in your traveling party?

3 adult, 2 parents, and 1 adult child of 21 years. any help?

Well that takes care of any concerns over traveling with toddlers or babies or teens who might need help in packing.

Will you be participating in Photopass? If you will and you want to buy the CD of pix that you can edit, have you pre-purchased it?

Do you have Priority Seatings?

Do you know where your tickets/APs are?

I'll think of more....b/c I have 9 days and should be doing most of the above for myself! So in a way, writing these things down for you is actually part of preparing for MY trip. Oh boy, that's almost as illogical and irrefutable as Disney Math!

I totally understand the fuzzy logic!! Will you be at DL in 9 days? We go to San Deigo first, 3 days, but will be at DL Jan 25. thru 31st. If you are so totally have fun!!

But I have 1 question - How do I check on Ding flights? I don't want to accidently change my fares.

I will be there around noon on the 25th, and my flight out is at 8pm on the 26th. If you see a slightly guilty, utterly happy, exhausted looking chica with a Canon camera and lanyard around her neck, it's probably me.

Go to Southwest.com and find the link that says "view or change your flight". Confirmation number and name, and you should be able to see it.

Or you could just look up the flights, like you're booking, on your dates, find the flight number, and see if anything's changed.

But I don't think that SW changes flights very often.

I started looking around for my lanyard (I collect, but do not trade, pins and only wear them at DLR) and AP, to put in my bag (I'm only taking carry-ons for this trip), all because of your thread. Felt like if I was doling out the advice I'd better ACT on some of it!
