5 Days, 4 Parks, 3 DIS-meets, 2 ADR’s, and 1 Solo DISer! Done! Finished! Completed!!

I'm feeling better than I did last night which is good but I feel a headache coming on this morning....but still better than yesterday morning!

Coulpe funny "disney" things from this morning to share.

I smelled Disney in my house this morning....I don't know what it was but I got a whiff of something and it reminded me of Disney. Nice.

As some of you know, my DS Liam has a speech delay. He has words but he really doesn't talk.....but he knows all his numbers 1 thru 10. After he finished his waffle this morning he declared TWO, EIGHT! I'm such a Disney geek I'm taking it as a sign! :rotfl2: 1928 was the year of Mickey Mouse's debut.

One week from today at this time I will be in Downtown Disney getting some breakfast before I get my shop on!

Oh I want to share this link that PNO4TE put up on her PTR....it's pictures on the Menus for all the F&W booths....with prices. Ouch.

The fact you know your Disney trivia that well amazes me!!! You got to love that simple things like that can bring Disney to mind!!!!! YAY!!!!!

I'm glad you are slowly but surely feeling better!!! In a couples days you'll be back to feeling back to normal!!!!!!!

You make a Mr. Potato Head parts sheet :worship::worship: WOW!!!! I think I'm going to start my collection this trip!! I think it would be fun to have one in my room that I could rotate around..like a room mascot LOL!!!!!

Thanks for all the well wishes! Just a stuffed up nose today :goodvibes. The good thing is that being sick has forced me to go to bed early this week so I have a good chance of continuing that tend this week.

Here's your toddler tip for the day: Don't try to fly a kite with a 2 year old boy. Even if the kite has TinkerBelle on it. She is no match for my toddler!
Side note to Jackie: I think you should take up kite flying...going outside with a kite will immediately stop any and all high winds! Could solve all your bad weather problems.

Got some vacation stuff done after Liam went down for a nap.
*All the DIS ladies cel phone #'s are now in my phone. (along with the direct # for ME)
*Everything (touring plans etc.) has been updated and printed
* The trip binder was cleaned out and re-stocked
* I looked over my pack bag and figured out where stuff can/should go in it
* Organized my little file-o-fax with everything that goes in it

I'm feeling prepared!

You do sound REALLY prepared! Isn't that a nice feeling?

I'm glad to hear you are getting rest! Makes me feel better about you traveling. Now who sounds protective...;)

Binder! Thanks for the little reminder! I have to do a binder and soon!

At this time next week I will either be eatting at Pecos Bills, or watching the Hall of Presidents show.

!
This made me laugh out loud. Sadly, I know this one from experience!
Have a great trip - hope I spot you(on the lookout for your cute pink bag!) and get to say hi! I can't wait to hear how you enjoy your alone time!:goodvibes

Disney has redeemed themselves yet again. Got my Magically Express stuff today....they sent it via UPS 2 day air! Ahhhhhhh.exhale.

Got a few more things together today including by pennies and quarters for my press penny collection and decorated my container (mini M&M tube).

I can't figure out how to transfer that movie that I dowloaded as a rental to my iPod. All I can think is that I need to start the movie before I move it. I have a feeling that I probably wasted $4. Anyone have any experience with renting movies from iTunes??

5 Days.....I can't believe it. Right now the To Do list is feeling manageable....let's hope it stays that way.

I'm looking forward to early reports from F&W.....hopefully someone is posting pics.

And I get to (re)check Steve Soars site tomorrow night to see if there were any big changes in entertain show times....probably not but I gotta look :3dglasses

Have a great time!! See ya there!

What is your secret to making your to-do list seem manageable? I am wondering how I will ever get everything done at this point! :eek:

I don't know. All my Disney planning stuff is done. And everything is pulled out and on the dining room table ready to be packed except my clothes and electronics.

This is my To Do List:

* sew shorts
* clean rings
* give myself mani & pedi
* try to move movie onto iPod Tuesday night
* check-in to ASMu online
* checki-in to Southwest Tuesday morning
* mow lawn
* grocery shopping
* pack carry-on
* do laundry
* pack

I'm back to catch up after a terrible cold and high fever. Everyone in my class is getting sick.

I'm not sure about rentals from iTunes.

You are so organized! I love all of your lists. Can't wait to hear about how online check-in goes for you. Thinking about using it next trip.

YAY for ME tags arriving :banana::banana::banana::banana:

Heidi - I am glad your ME stuff arrived! I about finished my packing yesterday. All we have left is to throw last minute items into our carry-ons on Thursday night before we leave for the airport. I hope we run into one another. :goodvibes

You mow the lawn....:rolleyes:

that just gave me my morning giggle.... Ok so a quick Mom question....how much stuff have you prepped or written out for DH in re to the kids while you are gone....I think the Disney planning stuff would be so easy if I (ok when I :idea:) go on my solo trip...but leaving behind the kids and all their jazz would be kicking me...:confused:

Mowwing the lawn is my one outside chore....we have close to 2 acres so we have a riding lawn mower. I acutally really like mowing the lawn. I listen to a disney podcast(s) the whole time. It's takes about 1 1/2 hours to do out in the sunshine :goodvibes

No written prepping for the kids. I have massive stocks of diapers, wipes and formula on hand, I'll do all the kids laundry on Tuesday, and I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow so DH is set for the week. Other than that, he is on his own. Oh and I'll leave their insurance cards with DH.
