5 Day ticket versus a 3 day hopper

Its cheeper to get a 5 day ticket than a 3 day park hopper ticket. Can you
use that ticket twice in a day and use 2 of the days rather that buy a park hopper? We will only be there 3 days, and are only planning on being in 2 parks on 2 of the 3 days. Has anyone ever done this before?

The ticket system is computerized and will not allow you to use the same ticket to get into 2 parks in one day unless you have the park-hopper feature. You cannot use the ticket the way you describe, you are allowed only one entry to one park per day unless you pay for the extra hopper. Sorry.

My understanding is that you CANNOT use 2 of your five days on the same day. If you want to visit two parks in one day, you MUST purchase the park hopper feature.

Can someone else confirm?

Disney will not allow you to use 2 "days" on your non park hopping ticket on the same day.
