5-day ticket questions for March

We are WDW vets heading to DLR for the first time in March- two adults, two kids 5 and 7.

We are currently flying RT to San Diego but I am trying to change the outbound to fly into SNA or LAX. We have to fly home from SAN either way.

If we land at SAN on Thursday evening, we will arrive in Anaheim mid-day on a Friday, and we need to be back in San Diego by Wednesday night for a work event.

Questions:
1) Is the 5-day ticket deal going on now able to be upgraded to 6 days? If so we will go to the parks Fri-Wed.
2) If the 5-day ticket is not upgradeable, should we go Friday evening - Tuesday or Saturday - Wednesday mid-day, or another combination of days?
3) May I assume we should use the magic morning on Tuesday rather than Saturday?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

There are no 6 day tickets, anything past 5 days would be an Annual Pass.
We always use the MM the first day available to our schedule. Other wise I find it hard to get the crew up. By the tail end of a 5day hopper ticket most of them are too pooped to hit a MM.

a- no, 5 day is the max ticket
b- I'd do Sat-Wed rather than going in for the first time on a Friday night
c- Saturday MM are less crowded because they start earlier, but if you prefer Tues it is possible

Thanks! You make good points about using it Saturday. Between the time change (we live in Central) and skipping Friday at the parks we should have no problem getting up early for MM on Saturday.

I have modified my travel plans and am wondering the best way to utilize my 5-day ticket now. Any thoughts?

Arrive SNA 10pm Wednesday 3/20
Need to be in San Diego night of Wednesday 3/27

Which day should I skip given the six days of Thursday-Tuesday? We will not have a car but can rent one for a day trip or take Lyft somewhere.

Thanks!

I looked at the Pass Block Out calendars and for a 5-day ticket, I'd go to the parks
Thurs (3-21), Fri, Sat, Sun and Tues. Skipping Monday because of the comments lately of how nasty Mondays have become.
Monday you could day trip to something in the LA area.

Another option is DL/DCA Thurs thru Monday and then head to San Diego early Tues to check out a few things in the area.
like SeaWorld or The Zoo.....

Enjoy your trip.
And congrats on flying into SNA.
