We are pondering booking a 5 day Baja Cruise on the Wonder out of San Diego. It goes to Ensenada and Cabo. Anyone tried and enjoyed this cruise? We'll have a 4 and 6 year old. Other options would be a 4 day Bahamas from Port Canaveral or 7 day Eastern Caribbean from Port Canaveral. We've done a 3 day Bahamas from Miami on the Magic before this. Thank you!

We did that cruise in 2015. It was nice. We'd been to both ports before, so didn't have a need to do any excursions. In Cabo we got off and picked up a local glass bottom boat tour.

Personally, I'm in the "longer is better" camp. So, a 7 night would win out over a 5 night. BUT, the 5 night was in our neck of the woods (no air flight needed).

If I were in you shoes, since you'd have to fly for either, I'd pick the 7 night cruise.

Any thoughts on if Mexico or the Virgin Islands is better for young kids? The beach excursions looked dreamy on The Virgin islands while Ensenada looked more adventure than beach.

Personally, I don't like Ensenada. I think the beaches in the Caribbean are probably better. But I'm not a beach person.
