Anyway I went shopping today to get a coin counter (went to 6-8 stores none had em [looking for the big plastic containers with the counter on the lid]). So I stopped into 5 Below (where everything is $5 or Under) and fount these cool light up bracelets.

If anybody is familiar with the necklace light that they sell at WDW at those push carts that turn different colors and combinations.... it's them but smaller, bracelets for $3.00 instead of $20.00. lol. I grabbed 4. :cool1:

This store has a lot of Disney items cheap if you are looking for car games/airplane items or arts and crafts kits for t-shirts or shoes - they have tinkerbell spray markers/paint for tshirts or anything you can think of. I was honestly going to get it and those white canvas bag at Walmart and do my own tinkerbell bag. :) but i don't need any more items. lol.

One time i saw a plain apron with marker and thought it would be a great thing for characters to sign... that way your kid has something to remember the trip by when they help you cook in the kitchen!! (But i haven't seen any of em since like 2-3 years old).

NOTE: I Do NOT work for 5 Below. The only way I'm associated w/ em is that I'm a huge fan of the store. :cool1:

I have been to the 5 Below in Woodbridge, NJ often. I like that books and activities for the kids..even the beach toys, sunblock, etc. are very inexpensive..it's a great shop!

We just got one of these in Rochester. I hadn't been there yet, but now you've motivated me to check it out! Thanks! :cool1:

I agree..it's a fun store! We have one here. Seeing as I go through earphones for my ipod quickly...either my daughter swipes them or the cat snacks on them, I buy them there. We have bought other fun things there too...nail polish, canvas bags...etc.

We went there the week before a beach vacation. We bought boogie boards, and tons of coloring books/crayons/markers/bubbles/tattoos etc for all the kids. I have 10 nieces and nephews, plus our own kids, so I was trying to get lots of stuff to entertain the kids.

I'll second the Five Below love. Sometimes they get high end Ravensberger games in their puzzles and games section! Those games run $40+ in Barnes & Noble or specialty game shops. And the basic, run-around-in-the-backyard sporting equipment is great. Our girls have a bunch of playground balls and baseball stuff from there.

One tip: Try getting the rolls of placemat sized coloring pages, cutting them out and keeping them in the car with some crayons before you go on a trip. They keep my kids occupied at restaurants. And, yes, they have Disney ones right now.

My best friend was just telling me about this store yesterday! I had never heard of it but it sounds amazing. Now I just have to find one near by. She lives in RI and I live in MA.

I love 5 below too!!! You cant beat their prices on fun books for kids! They also have games for the V-tech sytems too! Love their games and seasonal stuff too - beach games, boogie boards, balls, crafty kits, fun tshirts etc. Great for getting odds and ends to beef up birthday presents too!!:thumbsup2

Sometimes they have good smelling perfume.
I got a rose one "their version of DKNY"...
They sometimes have great WII games too. I got a Twilight Scene it game (i haven't played yet). lol.

They have cases for iphones/ipods too. :) Talk about saving money....
I really liked the light up bracelets i got. they have buttons and batteries and aren't the one time use only. Reminded me of the necklace from WDW. but cheaper. :)

:cool1: never heard of this store so I googled it!! We have one about 45 mins away near a mall that I absolutly love! I AM making a special trip there before we go to Disney now :cool1:

I've never heard of this store. Mustn't have made it to rural Maine yet! Sounds like my kind of place! When I was in Jr. High there was a clothing store in NH called "Dots" and all clothes were under $10. I loved that store. Wonder if it's still around. It was like a mini-version of Steve and Barrys (which we had for a short time an hour away...loved that store, too!).

Dots is still around, I've seen a few, though none are near here and they're a bit more expensive than $10 now. Forever 21 and Pay/Half seem to market to the same customers.

My kids absolutely LOVE going there!!! Ok, so do I ;) lol I go there first anytime we get b-day invites too. Great place to find a nice gift at a low price.
