now its memorial day and we had plans for epcot. I woke up and realized we didnt have any PSs for the day and that made me nervous. I knew we wanted the lamb at marrakesh, since we have been dreaming about it since our last visit, 9 years ago. So I made a 12:30 PS there with no problems and we were off.

We were there for the opening, but didnt really watch any of it....busy taking pictures of stuff I guess. Did the living seas first, and then onto the land. Really enjoyed the ride around the land....the stuff they are growing along with the process they are using to grow it....I found it all very interesting. And my son is jsut happy with any ride as long as it is "slow"...so he was happy on this. Did figment next and then honey I shrunk the audience. It was at this point that my son decided he doesnt like the 3D movies and kept his face buried in my arm the whole time. Didnt bother me as long as he wasnt screaming. I tried to explain if he watched without the glasses the things woulndt pop out, but he couldnt grasp that concept. This was probably my least favorite of the 4 3D movies at the parks, but it was still enjoyable. we shopped around a bit, then went over to marrakesh for our PS. The lamb was as good as I remembered....just falls off the bone. I will eat there again next time we go and probably every time we go. there were not many people there eating, its a shame, cause its one of my favorite restaurants and people just dont seem to catch on. My son even got pulled up to belly dance with the dancer.

we then went on Spaceship earth and then back to the room for a nap. after the nap we all felt great so we headed back to epcot. then my wife and I got fastpasses for test track and then took turns on mission space. the singles line was very short. Mission space is one of the most intense rides Ive ever done....truly an incredible experience. Made my wife very dizzy for hours....I did fine...and I usually get sick on simulator type rides (I wont even get on Star Tours)

then we decided to take turns on test track...my son had no desire cause it wasnt a "slow" ride (he could see the cars cooking by, so we couldnt lie to him about it). well, even with the fastpass it took my wife abotu 45 minutes to ride it as it kept breaking down. By the time she got back, I had already given away my fastpass cause I didnt want my son to have to sit around another 30 minutes for me to ride it....and we were all hungry. My wife keeps assuring me it wasnt that special of a ride...maybe she is just trying to humor me about it.

no PS for dinner so we grabbed fish and chips and a large bass ale at counter service. it was all very good and finally I found a drink with actual alcohol in it. We had been getting mixed drinks and realized its impossible to get drunk on mixed drinks in WDW....they are really cheap with the amt of liquor in the drinks and for those prices it just wasnt worth it. Unfortunately we didnt learn our lesson and kept getting mixed drinks, but I threw in wine and beer. Dont get me wrong, we arent drunks or anything, but if I get a tall 16 oz cocktail, I expect to feel the alcohol in it. The bass ale I could feel though, as well as the wine after that, the two beers after than and the final glass of wine, hehehehe. Too easy to drink in the world showcase. Didnt see much of the world showcase casue we got over there after 7 and illuminations went off at 9. We found a decent spot for illuminations. This was probably my favorite of the nightly shows. I enjoyed fantasmic to an extent, but Ill explain that when I get that far. The globe was really cool. It was a rat race trying to get out of there after it was over and the line for the bus was a zillion miles long....but somehow we were on a bus in 10 minutes or so. the bus service was just GREAT during our trip.

Passed out COLD when we got back.

We were at EPCOT on Memorial Day too. In fact, we even had fish and chips for dinner, except DH is the only one who had Bass Ale with his. I agree with you on the mixed drink issue. I love the Fiesta Margaritas but they sure could use another shot of Tequila!

Enjoying your reports!
