Anyone LOOK UP last night - Sam saw the space station and the shuttle around 6:12. I pulled into a parking lot, but was blinded by the light - so no go for me.

We saw it around the same time... pretty cool. (We couldn't see the $100,000 missing toolbag, though... good thing that astronaut doesn't work for our company... that would be a HUGE payroll deduction!)

Whenever we paint an exterior, I have always had the painter do at least a half of one wall.....I can't trust myself to choose a color unless I've seen it really BIG!

Because it was so drastically different than the old color, it looked HORRIBLE when it was half-done... so I don't think that would have been a good indicator... I do like it better now that its complete... but the jury is still out...

Almost every house in our neighborhood is beige, tan, toast, sand, oatmeal, or ecru... so it really stands out... which may be why its taken some getting used to. (Except for the newly painted house down the road that is painted (no lie) baby-poop-after-spinach-green)

I'm sure my 4 horses from florida are NOT happy


we had a wind chill of 5 this morning is I was nice and left them all in.

I think it's pretty...but I like blue. We had ours a little darker shade of blue one time. Now it's a green color...but not baby poop.
ALL the houses around here are some shade of beige. It gets so boring

Half the houses in my neighborhood look just like it... and anybody on Google earth can find it too... (in fact, I think it has a better picture...)

Need all the P&PD you can muster for my mom... she is in the hospital... she has been having MAJOR problems getting her meds regulated... and now she's had a minor stroke... they were supposed to be driving down here in 2 weeks for a month... its really hard being so far away right now.

It's quite chilly here in GA. I know not as cold as Garry's got it ... but still ... it's November, not January! Today at 2:00 it was 39 degrees. Emily is at a Girl Scout function tonight. It was supposed to be a bonfire ... great if you're standing next to it for warmth but I doubt they let them get that close and I'm sure it's just a fire pit & not bonfire. The word was they would let them make s'mores then send them all inside for indoor activities.

On the way to gym yesterday, we drove by the house to check out the Smurf color. We like it. It will be much easier to find since you are the only blue in the neighborhood.

Thanks for the prayers... Mom was released from the hospital, but is now back in (because the stupid pharmacy wouldn't fill her anti-nausea Rx, and she ended up back in at 4AM this morning...) My sister says that now the doctor wants her to spend a week or so in a rehab facility to get her strength back. I really wish I could be there, but everyone (up there) is insisting that I stay here...

Angie- yes, GA is definitely COLD!!!! We just got back from Savannah, and it was FREEZING. Walked around all day yesterday, had dinner at Lady & Sons last night, and then just hung out in our hotel room... the cold had REALLY tired us out!!
