It's Monday and of course this is the day that I can sleep to the alarm. During the weekend I can't sleep in, but on Monday.....

Wow - guess I missed a lot being gone last night... I was at a benefit concert at the HardRockLive that lasted well into the AM... had to take a 'mental health day' today just to catch up on last nights posts!!

OM- no, I'm not a writer by trade, but do write pretty often for work... I am the Director of Marketing for an area wholesaler of the "King" of "adult beverages of moderation". (No... not banfi... sounds like there's no moderation there!!) Working on some articles for Bike Week promotions that we are doing.

Amanda - hmmm... a reason for editing... does "temporary lapse of reason" count??? How 'bout "Doh!"

Warning, family name trivia!

Stacey, thanks for that. I don't mind, really, I'm kind of used to it. Not as bad as my DSIL, though. She allowed my family, and my brother, to call her "Diane" for years. It was only after they married that I found out her name is "DianA", just like mine. She was too sweet to correct them. I always corrected my boyfriends, at least!

Since I didn't marry for a while after they did, we had the same name for years, too. She got a few calls for me. Even stranger, her sister subsequently married a guy named "Noble", which happens to be my brother's name. Probably the only two "Noble"s in existence. My brother was named after my step grandfather, a great guy whose name was actually "Nobie". We found that out after he died.

I always forget that MLK day is a major holiday for the gov. workers too. We work, because the work needs to be done.

Wow, I take a few days off and look what happens. I just had pages and pages to read through. We went to Midland Texas for a swim meet this weekend and got in last night. Too tired to check in. Looks like we are really on a role with the posts.

We are planning on a week at WDW after the cruise. Wish we could do it first and then go home after the relaxing cruise, but school won't be out in time. I am anxiously waiting for next year's school calendar to come out so I know when we can fly out. Also need it to plan for our December trip. I am thinking that the kids last day of school before Christmas holiday is Dec. 16 and we want to fly out on Dec. 17. Watch the school district change it this year and mess me up.

Thank goodness this is a holiday for me. Nice to have a day at home.
