Can't wait for double scoop cruise. Maryland is getting a blast of winter today. Snow amounts too general right now - anywhere from 6 to 12 inches.

This was taken just a few minutes ago. We are on a main street so we've already been plowed a few times which of course turns the snow from white to yuck!

That picture brings back many memories of growing up in the snow. We always had fun in it because you had to make the best of it.

Now, I just look at the videos of the cold and snow.

I'll pop the rag top down today and think about you.

Well, we're not getting much snow, but have wind gusts to 50 mph from the WNW. I had to retrieve our garbage can from the middle of a field since DH forgot to bring it in last night. I feel for you folks that are getting 6 - 12 inches and am thankful that it's not me. I'm at work in the library today, and it's as quiet as, well, a library. No one wants to get out in this stuff. DH says we can't move south until he retires, and that's another 10 years, at least! But only 70 more weeks... I guess we'll just have to start taking longer and longer vacations each year.

I love Taco Bell!! In fact, I used to go there so often in college (ohiomickey and I) that I could just say "the regular, please" and Elvira Mistress of the Night would get me a burrito supreme, no beans, extra sour cream, cinnimon crispas and a Pepsi.

yes, she looked EXACTLY like Elvira Mistress of the Night. Saw her about 8 yrs ago in the real world (at the humane society) and she actually recognized us!!!

What is "Amanda's Law"???

Amanda's law states that your posts must include one or more of the following:
font changes, size changes (although I thought size didn't matter), color changes, bold, underline or italics, and/or smilies .

Amanda's law states that if it's not inconvenient for you to post, then you did it wrong.

Amanda's law's first ammendment states that smilies, font changes, size changes etc do NOT count if they are part of your permanent signature .

Some ppl have expressed a great love for Amanda's law. Some have chosen to deliberately ignore it (you know who you are!)

(Seriously... the Taco Bell where I grew up had more incidents of food poisoning than you would believe.) Can't even bear to watch their commercials!!! I'm sure Sir Scuba will feed you a better meal than that!!!!

The ad doesn't mention, but there are two additional twin sized trundle beds (one in each kids' room), and an air mattress or two in the garage... I might have a housefull pretty soon! (My dad always claims that he'll sleep on my huge BudLight pool float... in the pool of course.)
