Good news, Bad news.....which one do we want first?

Okay, bad news. Molly is missing. She slept with Jordan last night, I let her out at 6:30. We left at 9:00...I didn't get home until 3:00, left again....haven't seen her since this morning. Called and called, looked around the neighborhood.....our neighbor lost 2 dogs last week. Either there's a mountain lion out there, or the construction workers up the hill....I don't know. I don't even want to think about it, it's cold out there tonight.

Good news.....my niece Lindsey had her baby yesterday. She'd been on bed rest for pre-term labor, and was due in early Febr. Delivery went well, we have a little girl! 6 lbs, 8 oz...19" long, dark hair.

Mediocre news: They named her Angelina Jasmine. Not my first choice, but not my baby either.

I would go drive around some more, but I don't know where to look....it's a big desert out there.

Had to turn on the fire place this morning. It's cold.

OhioMinnie and Mickey, one thing to keep in mind when you move to Florida. Build it and then will come.

Got a call last night, "I will be there is a few hours. Just leave the light on"

Sure enough there is an extra car in the drive way and someone sleeping in the pool house. A friend flew down for a few days and he spent the night with us and is having breakfast with us before the kids go to school.

That is why we have the extra room built because he came in after we went to bed. Not everyone is on vacation.

It happens enough that we don't even mind any more. It does give us a chance to see our friends and family.

Happy Tuesday! Now that I know it isn't a postal holiday I'll be making a trip to the post office. Stacey & Karen (actually KT) look for something coming to your mail box soon!

Update on Maggie. Since it's her first day I called to check on her. She's been there over 4 hours. She's playing nicely with all the dogs. She totally refused to eat any breakfast. She is NOT worn out yet but they hope she will be by the time she comes home!

Hi guys.....haven't left for work yet. No sign of Molly. Didn't want to leave, in case she does come to the door.
Yeah, Karen...as big a pain as they can be when they are puppies, they do grow on you. She is a mellow dog, and was a mellow puppy...so I can't say too much.

Thought I should clarify what I meant about construction workers in the area. They don't know everyone's dogs like we do...so if they see her wandering, they may think she's lost (when she's not) and take her home or to the pound. But I am worried about the fact that the neighbors lost 2 dogs last week and now Molly.....

I get to see Genie, that's what I'm calling Angelina Jasmine...think Aladdin......
when I go to Omaha next week. That's where Lindsey and Mike are, too.

Heading for the office. Going to try to keep my mind off Molly and my Mom, who should have just come out of surgery a bit ago. Dad doesn't have cell phone, so I won't hear from him until tonight.

Just getting back to the boards after a long weekend. I have a lot of catching up to do!!!

Anyway ... Amanda, you may want to check your calendar for 2005-2006 school year. Here in Fulton County, the schools get out on the 20th this year but don't get out until the day before the cruise next year (May 26, 2006). I know every county in GA seems to be different though. Luckily you if you have a week between school & the cruise!
