Happy Valentine's Day!!

Hi All!!
No way am I going to go back and read everything to catch up...so I'll just jump in and say hi for now!
I had limited access to the net at Mom's, so I wasn't able to spend all night online like I do here.
All went very well...and she's doing great. Thank heavens. It was hard to leave, but I'm glad to be home.
Now to just get caught up again, so that I can start thinking "Cruise thoughts"!!
So glad to see you are back home safe and sound! I was just about ready to issue an ABP out for you!!

It's another character "meet n greet" from "Bug's Life", "The Rescuers", "Jungle Book", etc. :rotfl:

Break out the s'mores, and call it 'character dining'!

kevin, scubadad whats your opinion on these? http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=740927

I do not have any personal experience with these, but they are a major brand in scuba. Sharon uses something similar for keys, credit cards, KTW card, non-essential items

Personally, I don't think I would put my camera in one of these to take underwater. Remember, it only takes a little water to ruin electronics which is why we take so much care with our O rings on our underwater housing.

However, I do think they make a lot of sense if you are taking camera gear, phones, PDA on a boat where they could get splashed. It is extra protection because everything can get wet on a boat or at the beach. I just don't know if you were going to take them in snorkling.

The question for you is about your use. What are you going to use this for?

I would have to agree with Jim. It looks like kind of a glorified baggie.....

I wouldn't trust my camera, memory card and valuable pictures underwater in one of those. Might be alright for snorkeling, rafting, clumsy husbands on boats and other wet things though. :rotfl:

:flower1: Good morning cruisers!:flower1:

Happy Tuesday!

Hope everyone has a great day!

What gave it away... the stray cats??

One of New Smyrna's finest. Maybe we should take OhioMinnie there?

Actually, it is one of my favorite restaurants. Just a fun place to eat in a great setting!

I agree... once you FIND the place!! It's one of those 'gems' that's hidden away- keeps the majority of the tourists out!!

I'm game. But for my picky children's sake, is there something other than seafood?

Limited non-seafood menu... burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese.

(I know, 'cause my kids are the same way, although DS would eat grouper fingers or gator tail 7 days a week if you let him.)
