I just finished laying some sod in front of the house. I was going to post a picture, but did not want to get yelled at for shorts in the middle of winter.

The plants are all gone, the sprinklers are fixed, the sod is in. No more yard work except mowing!!! More time for diving!!!

I was being nosy (:teeth: ) and peeked in on the May repos cruise thread, and they have some cool things going on for their cruise! Pins and buttons and patches, cool! Did you 10 day cruisers do stuff like that? What fun!

Sounds good to me! I'm sure you have those sprinkers on automatic timers, right?? :hyper:

It was a lot of fun!! I especially liked the T-shirts and buttons! We had blue shirts made by gaRy. There was constant comments from others on board: There's more of those "Blue shirt people". Cracked me up! :teeth:

We ought to do something similar, but there is plenty of time :hourglass

We had lots of cool stuff on the 10 day! Mark did buttons for everyone (and he's doing them for this cruise as well).

gaRry did t-shirts that were AWESOME!

Jim did special bottles of wine!

I did a mini-navigator with people's room numbers and DIS meets listed (and will do so again if everyone wants).

Three different families (gaRry/Vicki, Virgil/Frances, and Diana/Kevin) passed out ornaments as well.

In addition onboard we had a DIS ornament exchange which was organized by Karen (ohiominnie) and was great fun!

We also had a scrapbooking class, wine tasting party, group photo, and group brunch.

Looks like Kevin and started posting at the same time but I got too chatty. :cool1:

Woo Hoo - got a top!

Amanda...Brunhilda Pink Toe here answering your APB! LOL Don't you just love the t-shirt design! Sorry I haven't been here in so long, our thread has taken off! Only 3 months to go, and SO much planning going on. I am official "pin listkeeper", and with that and just reading the posts, answering my pm's is taking 1 to 1.5 hours when I get home from work. (darn work getting in my way) I guess there is a reason why my company has internet cop on our systems! Tomorrow is excursion booking day :cheer2:

I'll catch up here in June once I get back. I'll be gone 3 weeks (2 on the cruise, and 1 more in L.A.)

Robin (aka Brunhilda Pink Toe pirate: )

It was a lot of fun. Different people did different things and it was all about sharing. Looks like that is what is happening over on the repo cruises as well. That's what makes these threads so much fun!

Allo neighbor! Just wondering how things were going up north? Isn't this weather wacky? I can't get over this cough and cold I have, I think in part due to the weather we have been experiencing.

This weather is crazy! I enjoyed our beautiful sunshine & warm temps today though. :sunny:

Our day has been crazy too. We were on the go ALL day. Emily had gymnastics this a.m. I got free tix to Pooh's Heffalump movie through Disney Visa. Bad thing was that it was at a theater an hour away in Kennesaw. We decided to take advantage of the free movie but then wasted 2 hours in the car! Too much traffic trying to get over there that we would have been 15 min. late for the movie so we decided to head back to Alpharetta. What a nightmare traffic is in ATL metro ... even on a weekend! Now I know why we stay in our own little world here in Alpharetta - we have everything we need (mall, every restaurant imaginable, etc.) & NO reason to venture out. If we stay here we don't encounter traffic - especially not on weekends. Needless to say, DH was NOT a happy camper! Luckily girls were tired so that napped through the whole ordeal.

Everyone say a little prayer for me. Last week I went to the dr. for my scoliosis (wore a brace as a teenager, hated it, quit, haven't been to a dr. about it since & now regret it). Anyway, seems that surgery is in my near future. Dr. said that it's not necessary for me to do it "tomorrow" but the "younger" I am, the better. Besides, I want to be fully recovered by cruise time. Just a lot to deal with having 2 little ones at home and no support system living near us.

Enough blah, blah, blahing ... hope everyone has a good night!

Angie

We are going on the August Repo cruise, so we still have a little over 6 months to go. We are getting excited. And yes, it will be the three us us again. The 82 days must be for our 05/05/05 cruise. I have my clock things shut off at home.

We have two days at WDW before going on that cruise. The August Cruise has lots of things planned too (it will be the 3 of us then, also). This has been a good year for us. Thank goodness.

So if you need anything from the cruise line, I will be glad to pick it up for you. Just let me know.
Patty
