Would all the good food at Palo's make you too heavy to dive??? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

This might be a good thing--- remember I am the one that has trouble "getting down" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

PS - it is not the food, it is the wine....(or lack thereof....)

Speaking of which - Mint Julip time!!!!!!!!!!

It's really easy!! All you need is a roaster and green coffee beans. I roast in the garage with both the large door and the side door open, because it can create quite a bit of smoke. Coffe roasting basics.
We have a Hearthware iRoast that has done a superb job. Had another before and wore it out. This one has a programmable roasting schedule I like.

Check out Sweet Maria's (the above links are that site) they have lots of info.
I get the green pea berry Tanzania beans here locally for $3 a pound.

Didn't they use screws for the siding??? :confused3

Hmmm....will look into this. Might have to bookmark THIS post and keep coming back to it for reference so I don't get in trouble for not remembering a conversation from months ago

Nope. Nails to put in the siding. I think that's how it's always done. The nailpops though are the OLD nails used to put the drywall up in the 1970's. Harder than heck (IMHO) to get set back in again. I think there is *some* technique, but I haven't learned it yet. Usually if there is only one or two I just conveniently hang something over it!!! ;)

CAREFUL. Last time I did that for ohiomickey, he didn't pack any other shorts than the pair he wore down (for a two week vacation)

and then there's my dad who didn't pack any pants for the cruise.

MEN just cannot be trusted with such responsibility!!! :lmao: :lmao:

then again, it didn't affect ME!!! :lmao: :lmao:

OK, for the cruise last year, I packed, as I usually do, but not so well. I forgot to pack DH's dress pants, socks, and something else, like maybe his toiletry bag. I was in the dog house for a long time. Do you know how expensive socks are on a cruise ship! Not to mention that I had to rent him a pair of tux pants to wear for dinners. So I told him to pack for himself if he wants it done "right". Hmm, perhaps it wasn't quite an accident. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Maybe it's me, but NONE of the sweet maria's pages are working. even googled her and the results of that won't load. will try later.

Nick and I just got our butts kicked at Euchre! :(

OK ??? and then I really am going to sleep..We are arriving on the 19th...I got a great deal on a flight for my mom but it does not land until 1046pm on the 20th....I need a hassle free (cheap)way to get her from the airport back to our room (that I have yet to reserve) without one of us actually going to pick her up....I was going to try and stay at POP or ASstarts so we could use ME but there is no availabilty...other suggestions? I just dont want to have to drive all the way to the airport wen we could be parking :-)

How about Mears?

I forgot that you guys did that too!! Don't you just love that fresh roasted and ground taste???

What's your favorite bean? I'm sure we went over that (back in the dark ages) but I forgot....

I mostly roast for Espresso -- Malabar Gold from the Coffee Project

Other thatn that I tend to like the africans and indonesian. I like a very "punchy" cup.

I also order from Smithfarms.com on Hawaii when I want some Kona - Although even though this is fantastic coffee, it is a little too clean of a cup for my taste!

I found out that I can put a hold on both the newspaper and the mail from online. USPS.gov is actually pretty handy, but can't do it earlier than 2 weeks out, which for us is on Wednesday! Also arranged for someone to mow, take care of chickens, cats, fish and cockatiels, too. Dogs already have ressies at the kennel.

'Jim do you happen to know about what a one way from MCo to OKW would run?

No idea. We have never used them before. I just see their business all over the place. I'm sure you can check on line. They do have counters in the airport.

Tinksdad has you going down the right (dark) path! I started with the precursor to the iRoast, moved to the Alpenrost (aviod this one like the plague!!) but have now moved up to the Hottop.

It is interesting that at first Ithough that I liked dark roasted coffee al a Starbucks. Once I started roasting I found that I prefered light roast, but VERY strong coffee. The lighter the orast, the more you taste the "variatel" of the bean (think wine tasting). The dark roasts start tasting the same since you are tasting teh burnt sugars more.

We're using Tiffany towncar from the port to the Hyatt for our day-room before our 6:30 flight. We used them last time from the airport to PC. One-way, they are $90. A bit pricey, but we didn't want to rent a car for a day. Better to keep that pampered, waited-on feeling after getting off the ship. I'm sure it would be the same price from MCO to OKW, too.

Well, we are back from the first legs of our journey today. Not the best day at the pool, but then again, we only practiced once in the pool this week. She got dq'd on the 200 IM, because her foot slightly moved on the starting blocks, had about the same best time on the 50 back and 100 Fly and had her best time on 50 breast. Tomorrow, she will swim 100 back on the relay, 100 back individual, 100 breast, 50 free and 50 fly.

Now we are getting ready for the band's final concert of the year (yeah), hopefully this means no more real early practices for the rest of the school year. Of course, there are only 2 more weeks of regular classes and the 3 days of finals. More than likely Dale will be exempt from all of his finals Ashley's last day is Wednesday, May 24 and then we fly out on Thursday, May 25. Anticipation......

Sandi -- actually, I think it is cheaper from airport to WDW. It is quite a bit farther to drive to PC, someone correct me if I am wrong. We have never used any of the town car services, because we like to drive ourselves.

hey Amanda! See up there at the top of this page?? See the picture of the pretty cruise ship???
Just below that, and a little to the left is a word : Transportation. If you click on that, the people I told you about will magically "pop" up in front of you!!
Honest! Try it!!

WOW I made it even easier for you, by posting this at the T.O.P !!!

Probably not happening. The only place in NM that sells it is in Santa Fe. The restaurant must get it shipped. It was really good though.

I TOTALLY agree!!! I roast ours to a full city roast, about 7 minutes through three various heat seatings. Toasty!! :woohoo:
