Amanda....I'm thinking towncar might be the best thing for your mom.....if I were her, I wouldn't feel very comfortable alone in a cab...and the cost is probably less for a town car, anyway.

Other than ME, there isn't much choice. We use FLTours, and really like them.

I actually had some fun today. NO...we didn't get our Docs, and I can guarantee you, ours WILL be last...they always are!

Anyway....and this may only end up being funny to me......
We got a letter in the mail today. Some company made an offer to buy the property that we have our cabin on. No, it isn't for sale....
The letter says "We are prepared to offer you, IN CASH, $5200.00 for the above mentioned 35.2 acres of land".

Whooo-weeeee. A whole whopping $5200.00 ! I couldn't fax them back fast enough!


My reply?

"Three years ago, we purchased this property for $300,000, and you want us to sell it for FIVE THOUSAND?! That's the funniest thing we've heard all week - maybe all year!! Let us know if you find someone dumb enough to sell 35 acres of land for $5000. We'd be interested in buying!"

Holy cow....I laughed til I cried.

NOW THAT is hysterical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amanda - I use zip locks - very small, but do not put the entire necklace in the bag, instead leave the catch outside with an inch or so of the chain outside - it does not tangle.....

And are we close to a milestone..I never checked...

Ohiominnie -- isn't that the truth! We have 4 people and 2 computers and it usually Pam on one and Dale on the other one.

We have 4 desktops, one laptop that I use most nights, I have a work laptop too and DH has a laptop that he uses for work in the car.
We don't have the same problems except that we all want to be on the same one so we can watch tv or what

Yes, we are still cruising!! We were upgraded to 6580 (cat 6, I think?)yeah!!!
It has a verandah, so I am on !!!

3 Weeks and I can't wait!!

I really know that feeling. The closer it gets, the more the anticipation is wearing off and the dread of it going by too fast is creeping upon me. The thought of not having anything to look forward to any longer is bothering me. And, no, we're not going to book on board, as much as I'd like to. We're not planning any more 'big' vacations in the next few years.

That is the exact feeling I was trying to convey in my post. That is exactly how I am feeling. I have spent the last months saying hurry hurry hurry, and now I feel like saying WAITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

All this talk about the "let down" after it's over has got me thinking. How about if we set up a "meet" centrally located on the map in the near future after the cruise? Like at a resort or something? Cheaper than a cruise, and do-able? Just a thought from my pea brain.

I thought Stacy was taking us all to Turks and CAicos??? I was just waiting for the exact dates to get off from work
