Hi all I am on the 6/24 DD. Just wondering if anyone has tried asking Disney what night our Pirate night will be ?

Next up,.....does anyone know where I can get a pretty cheap jewelry roll? The ole necklaces dont do too well in a ziploc!

There is a bakery in Springfield that makes a really good one....

oh...sorry, I thought you said JELLY roll!

We went to the Big Island for a week and then Oahu for a week. I would go back to the big island ina heart beat, but now that we have done the Arizona have no desire to go back to Oahu -- traffic was terrible. 90% of the population of the state of Hawaii live on Oahu and then 90% of the population of Oahu lives in Honalulu. There is no road that goes all the way around the island so you have to go through downtown to get anywhere.

Snorkelling around the big island was amazing - lots of big fish, decent coral, lots of turtles! Snorkelled once off the beach in Oahu and could not figure out why theer was no fish. Later we saw several people going into the water with spears and bags!!

There is a flooded caldera that is a national park just outside of Honalulu that did have decent but lots of dead coral.


OOOOO! a UTOP with Hawaii!

I also spent a week in Oahu and was disapointed how commercial it was and busy - been there done that and our next trip over hopefully will be the 15 cruise from LA, 4 sea days, 7 days around the Islands and the 4 sea days home

You play EUCHRE!!!!!!! Oh boy!!!!! Not many people know of that sport down here in Texas. MinkeyMo alluded it to it before but trying to teach her trump almost cost our early marriage. We will defintely have to paly on the boat. I went to school in Upper Michigan and that is about all we played for 4 years -- okay we might have played the odd game of hearts adn we got on a pinocle kcik once -- I am so exicited!

Funny you should post this. We were all pretty tired and the mistakes we made were....well, stupid. Like once I shuffled my score cards into the deck. No one thought anything of it when Nick threw a 6 of diamonds!! And then there was the time Mike dealt as if he was Nick (b/c Nick didn't want to deal) but then kept the top card for himself when someone told him to pick it up! Kids were mad we redealt on that hand b/c one had left bar and one had right bar.

But sure. If you can play with a couple of goofballs, look us up....we'll play. actually, Mike is QUITE good. He taught me, but it nearly cost us our early marriage trying to teach me trump!!!

So, when I drove home tonight after work, there was a UPS truck driving very slowly down my street...it even stopped in front of my house. I was thinking "SWEET!!! Documents! Uh-huh! Yeah! "

It was dropping something off for the old lady who lives across the street

Curse you UPS person!!! Taunting me like that!

Wait....I know....s/he can make it up by delivering them TOMORROW! And then I will take back all of the mean things I said about him/her.

We think that Pirate night will be on Wednesday (Cozumel Day). We'll find out if we are right in 3 1/2 weeks!

Somebody had posted several weelks (months?) ago about playing Left-Right-Center... which at the time, I had never heard of... learned how to play (and got my own "Budweiser Edition" game) a few weeks ago while at a meeting in Philly... almost got kicked out of the restaurant we were in for 'gambling' , but what a great game!!! It's definitely on the list of what needs to get packed!

OOPS...Katie was posting earlier on the Tag Long site, forgot to switch. Our family still has no documents. We went by the TA and she re-gave us the packet for excursions that "just" arrived.

That is what I thought too, so I booked Flounders for DS on Costa Maya night. But...when I got my reservation confirmation in the mail today it said we will be @ Cancun till 11pm.

Not knowing what will be when makes it hard to plan for Flounders.

Just a rhetorical question. Why do door to door solicitors still exist? Does anyone actually open their door to a stranger any more (besides my husband, that is)? Just had a nice looking 20 something guy at my door. I'm home alone. I just yell through the door, NO Thanks! I guess they keep at it, for the one in fifty chance they'll get a Kevin.

We bought a really expensive set of books for the kids last summer (over $400)
but they have used them quite a bit already so I guess it does pay them and they were students from Scandanavia
