dh just commented "people are posting quick tonight..." duh look at the post count...have fun racing to the next milestone - we're off to ds' choir concert.

I'm just hanging out, tired and wired all at the same time. Had Pepsi with my gourmet dinner. :hyper:

If anyone wants to see a brief video tour, I video'd the Roy Suite the last time I had it with my cell phone, but I do not know how to post it online... I'll happily email it to someone and perhaps they can post it...? Just PM me your email and I will send it straight away... :thumbsup2

PS-the only thing you do not get to see is the bathroom (with the jacuzzi tub) b/c as you will hear in the video, the phone in the room rang.... lol...

We had the Roy last June for the Mexican Riviera cruise. How about I just post all of the 50 million pictures that I took?

I know that I didn't go on the Boards at all for that cruise. I didn't want to have a party.....and as we found out at Christmas, DCL won't allow it anyway....
And....I know this is going to sound really bad, BUT.....I also didn't want a bunch of people traipsing through my room. Not trying to be a pig about it...but think....you have all of your personal items out where you want them, you have other family members to consider, you have other PLACES that you want to be, things to do......
And this is also their FIRST EVER cruise!
I know, easy for me to say, because I've stayed in that room...but......I say let them enjoy their cruise in peace.
I never have liked the idea of stateroom tours.
Pictures work good for that.

Ok, I just had an idea about the life vest situation....
What if you took a washcloth and put it in the neck hole and then slipped your head through....so the washcloth would be between you and the sweat of the 10,000 other people to have worn it. Then when you're back in the room, throw the washcloth on the floor of the bathroom and your room steward will take care of it while you're at dinner.

Voila.
Problem solved. :)

COOL a U TOP with stinky lifevests!!

pixiedust: pdfg

Good idea! I've always hated putting them on. Not because they're bulky and ugly, but because of the dirt and germ factor.
The one I had on the last Norwegian cruise was broken. The buckles were missing. I felt soooo confident!

Ok, here's one for ya....

This is your BIL....(sorry, can't get him to show up on the DIS)

(nevermind, can't get him to show up anywhere!!) i'd call tech support, but he's at work!)

suffice it to say the smiley did NOT have a good outcome vs. the steamroller! ;)

DSL requires a phone line. This service uses the internet service over cable tv lines, that's something around here that honestly I'd not do as I don't trust the cable service that well. We dumped cable for satellite tv because of how poor the quality was. And I do have a question, what happens if there's a power outage, does the phone service go offline too?

It does. THEN the cell phone comes out.

So, I just picked up the birthday cake for soon to be 3 Nate. I paid $35.00 for a Mcikey shaped cake. It was very cute. I made the mistake of showing it to him. He wanted to see it, but we are going to sing HB until DH Steve gets home from work. Nate pitched a fit because he wanted some then. I gave in and gave him a taste of the frosting from the foot of Mickey. He was happy, he got a taste. I was happy he wasnt crying. I thought all was well. I was wrong.

I went to fiddle with my Ipod. The next time I see Nate, he has frosting all over his face. Oh no!!!!!!!! Did you get into that cake?? he looks at me very very guiltily..........I go to the fridge (buttercreme frosting) slowly open the box..I find Mickey has been decaptiated!!! His face has been eaten!!! I didnt even get a before shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it WAS his cake! What a cute, funny story you'll have now!

Now that's our kind of dinner, Mark, except for the tomato sauce. In fact, we haven't had that for awhile. That will be good on the grill this summer.

I didn't even recognize it from the picture.

Geee OM never serves us SPAM at home...

... AND THAT'S A GOOD THING!!!!!!!!!!!

All this talk of gourmet dinner reminded me I havn't had mine yet from the last food discussion.

Being I came home a bit early, as I'm coming down with something which seems very much like bronchitis.

So out comes the fry pan.

dinner1.jpg

Ahhhhh. such a wonderful smell. Even with bad sinuses I'm feeling eager.

Got to have a side...

dinner2.jpg

And finally the presentation. ;)

Of course I havn't added the.............tomato sauce yet!

:)

YUCK!

Well, the hashbrowns look okay, but the Spam and tomato (ketchup) sauce???? Ewwww.

Not 'round here. Cell service is horrible. Too many all residential neighborhoods who don't want those 'ugly' cell towers anywhere near them. The next village over even the mayor is a loon who's been trying to push an AT&T tower that's not even in the village out for years now trying every angle including renting a billboard on the adjoining property calling it a danger if it fell. The providers are getting kind of desparate; there's now a node up on the high tension power line towers at the edge of the village.

Just be happy your school allows swimming. Our school district does not. No swimming activities. No pools, no teams, no parties. I learned this when Matt tried to do a project on scuba.

Really? Why??

Ha. I just get all caught up reading, and it's time to take Jared to his baseball game. And once again, I'm going to be gone when you all hit the next milestone. How do you guys do that??

HEY...tech question....The TREO isn't getting an internet connection. I am thinking that I haven't done a "sync" on it since I bought this new computer.....is that most likely what the problem is???
