Debb if you are going to open up the suite please add us to the list. I went to a cocktail party in the Walt Suite on the Wonder but have never been in the Roy Suite. I do think having a set time would be best or your bell will be ringing all the time. I'll be happy to add it to the navigator for you.

edited to add - are you sure you want to open up your "home" to this crazy group. Much as we would love it you shouldn't feel any pressure to do it and you should check with the rest of your family.

Room tours - as far as I know it has been done successfully on the repo cruises because of all the sea days. It was planned but not done on the DVC Member Cruise because of other things interferring with it. While I think it would be fun it would take someone time to organize it and be the go to person if it needs to be cancelled like it was on the Member Cruise.

Okay everyone TIME OUT! Due to overwhelming response from everyone that wants to tour I will have to stop this. It has gotten out of hand. I do not wish to make anyone mad at me but I must now request tours will be at my convience on a one on one invite. I do not want to upset the family vacation. I will see some of you on the cruise and may invite some of you individually but at this time I will not be able to open the room up to what started out to be just a few people. Please understand I am looking forward to meeting all of you but family happiness comes first.

This isn't just for Kevin it is for everyone. Please remember that suite is Debbs home for the week. Let it be her decision if she lets people in either in small or large groups or not at all. I for one will stand by her decision. It is her vacation too and she needs to think about her family and their time. OK? Edited to add - looks like Debb and i were typing at the same time.

As for a wine party those of you on the 10 day know that a lot of time, effort and $$$ went in to having one for us. If anyone else wants to organize one they are free to but these things don't just happen.

There is a REALLY good chance that there's going to be a guy named Bill there. But seeing as he is neither a DISer or an aquaintance of anyone here, you can probably leave him off the list.

for anyone who is interested in peeking into one of the cat 1's, a server once told us that on disembarkation day after breakfast, you can usually go up and poke your head in and see it (since everyone has already left.) he did say you have to excuse the condition of it b/c there will be cleaning supplies and towels and sheets all over, but if you just want to see the basics, you can do that.

we've never actually done it b/c we don't hang around after breakfast. no point in prolonging the sadness by looking at beautiful ship features.

I agree, you need to enjoy your vacation in YOUR room!!! As a cat 11 dreamer, I'm not mad nor hurt. It's better to instill boundaries now... I haven't seen it yet - so, it won't kill me not to see it this trip either... If I want to see it - I'll save my pennies and book it- think I'll go start cleaning underneath the sofa cushions...

I can at least say...see that door - one of our group is in that room this week....

So, I just picked up the birthday cake for soon to be 3 Nate. I paid $35.00 for a Mcikey shaped cake. It was very cute. I made the mistake of showing it to him. He wanted to see it, but we are going to sing HB until DH Steve gets home from work. Nate pitched a fit because he wanted some then. I gave in and gave him a taste of the frosting from the foot of Mickey. He was happy, he got a taste. I was happy he wasnt crying. I thought all was well. I was wrong.

I went to fiddle with my Ipod. The next time I see Nate, he has frosting all over his face. Oh no!!!!!!!! Did you get into that cake?? he looks at me very very guiltily..........I go to the fridge (buttercreme frosting) slowly open the box..I find Mickey has been decaptiated!!! His face has been eaten!!! I didnt even get a before shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!
