CRUISE QUESTION ....

Sorry I can't remember ... What is everyone doing in Costa Maya? Is anyone doing the Jungle Beach Break at Uvero Beach? Has anyone done it before? Worth it or skip it? I'm pretty sure some people were saying that they'd stay on the ship. I guess I'm starting to stress about not having something planned. A co-worker went to Costa Maya in Dec. They just stayed at the pier area but she said that the pictures online of Uvero Beach look much nicer than the pier area.

Back to the fluff and getting the next milestone.

We're doing the dolphin adventure or whatever it's called. I think with that admission we are allowed to stay at Uvero Beach. So, I guess that's what we're doing in Costa Maya.

Cruise related - Hey Kevin - my Nitrox card has not arrived. We will see if we can get a new temporary from the instructor....the temp. was only good for 30 days. When we spoke with him before Easter - he said they were behind.

Ok a little to help the milestone...

We might be in the same boat (pun intended!! ) Alicia is to take her Nitrox test today. SSI gets the cards out pretty quick and since they come from Boulder there is little shipping delay.

If the card doesn't come before you go, just go in and get another temp card. It'll be fine!! Christi is very reasonable!

Hi, Ang. We're just going to do a beach trip ourselves in CM, like in Coz. We've done the formal excursions, but they're quite pricy, and on last year's cruise we had more fun doing it on our own, and we can stay just as long as we want. Plus, Erin's too young to put up with a ruins tour.

I don't have my notes at work, but if you'd like to know where we'll be heading, you're welcome to join us!

We are on this double dip cruise. Can't wait, the DH, DSx2, and the DD. Just ordered our buttons too. We have bus transfers but we are now thinking of renting a car and driving to the port. Any ideas? We are flying in the night before and staying at the Marriott.

Welcome in -- I would rent the car -- much cheaper than the transfers!

Yeah, it is nice we can return them to Sears. I wish Sears had a bigger selection of Lands' End clothes. They tout being this big retailer for Lands' End stuff, but we go in there and there's ONE kind of dress, ONE kind of sweater, ONE kind of short, ONE kind of pant. Go figure. With KT's figure, I'd like to try things ON first! And even then, THAT is dicouraging!!

We did pick up a cute skirt at, of all places, Wal*mart the other day. It's cute, fits in the waist (almost) and is long enough. Told her yesterday that we might have to go back and get every color!!!

I was thrilled to find out that our local Sears has a huge LE store in it. It's the first time I've seen one like that.

Check with your Sears, though, because you may be able to order from the LE catalog in the store and not pay shipping.

Man - you all were really busy last night. I didn't even get on the boards. Ashley was practicing her cheer routine and then had a lot of typing for school. She had to turn in her poetry book and also write her persuasive speech. Dale was studying for the AP World History exam later today. He had a rough night, too nervous and couldn't sleep much. So guess who he wakes up when he can't sleep -- ME. Then I couldn't go back to sleep. It sure will be a long day today.
