Well seems like everyone is out having Easter fun, I have done a bit of cleaning and tidying and we are headed to the baseball game soon.
Have fun.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day with their family and/or friends today! We're off to celebrate with a core group of theatre families. Always a fun time when everyone's together.

Mary, how was the weather at your house last night/this a.m.? - got a telephone message from my mom while we were at church - they had no power this morning in their area of Wheaton which made prepping for their dinner for 20+ a challenge...

Eggs-actly my wishes, too. It was fun to watch 25 yo DD and 11 yo DS coloring eggs together yesterday, and even more fun to watch the 2 of them combing the house for the 40 plastic eggs that the EB hid last night. Some 'kids' just never get too old. There are still 2 or 3 eggs that haven't been found; probably will show up around cruise time.

DD 24 and her DH 27 are REALLY upset that EB didn't come. Go figure. The oldest :confused3
Jordan didn't care about missing baskets of candy, but she wanted to do the plastic egg hunt...those eggs used to have money in them!

Sorry Mom and DH gave me mine so they have sentimental value even thought I quit telling DH I wanted them.

Well, it was worth a try.....and ya know I was teasing, right? ;)

Happy Easter!

:sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

We've had a great afternoon here. The pool, mojitos, and we're getting ready to grill steak.

I'm just trying not to think of my jury duty tomorrow!

Hope everyone is having a super day!

Sounds like our afternoon, after my trip to WDW to pick up Matt. Blender Girl (Lisa) made drinks and we enjoyed them by the pool.

It almost time to grill the steaks. T-Bones with the Yacht's Club bourbon sauce.

Happy Easter, DIS Friends!

Of all the Easter Sunday descriptions here, I think I like the FL ones the best. Blender drinks and grille by the pool, now we're talking!

We visited the in-laws, MIL's birthday is tomorrow. We've got ham, bruschetta, and fruit salad planned tonight (I know, odd combination). Alicia has homework to take care of. It's gorgeous outside, saw families setting up picnics at various parks with boxes of beer. Just as well we won't be driving around tonight!

Beautiful day in Northern Florida too. After church I get the pleasure of driving to WDW to pick up Matt. While I'm on WDW property I need to pick up a post card.

This will be the first opportunity for our family to have dinner at home together in several weeks so we are doing that. Passed up Stonewoods for crab cakes and NY strips.

The bunny did not come last night so no candy to eat. Maybe Lisa will make Creme Brule for tonight. :thumbsup2

Have a good Easter.

Happy Easter, Yes this part of the World was so Nice that we all ended up in the Pool after dinner, air Temp was 84 pool temp was 80...AAAHHHHH so relaxing, too bad we have to go to work tomorrow...

Hope everyone is enjoying their Easter. Thanks for all of the well-wishes for Ashley. She was sick quite a few times during the night. This morning her tummy was doing better but had a fever. It finally broke a little while ago while she was having a LONG nap.

I need to catch up on all of the posts since last night.

:cool1: A UTOP shared with Ashley and all of the DIS family!!!

Jim & Ray,

Thanks for the prime rib recipes! Mine came out great. I did a combination of the two. I seasoned w/ salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder & Montreal steak seasoning then put Zatarrain's creole mustard on top of that. I used Jim's temp & cooking settings. It came out great! For sides we green beans, corn on the cob, garlic smashed potatoes cooked in Zatarrain's crab boil for a little kick then loaded w/ lots of butter (my copycat of Copeland's red hot potatoes).

It almost time to grill the steaks. T-Bones with the Yacht's Club bourbon sauce.

Dave marinates them in equal parts red wine, soy sauce and oilve oil...YUM!

Anyone for another mojito?????????? :bounce:

We were talking about going to Costco today, but didn't make it. Wonder if they have the Swavroski figurines at ours?

Good pictures, Stacey. Yes, a little small. That isn't Jared batting, is it? I remember his legs being longer than that!

Diana, I think the Swavroski figurines were $199. I saw them on Swavroski's website last night & think they were listed at $275.

Great news everyone. I found the gift cards. Even though I had looked in this drawer last night, I looked again and found them.

We went to church and then out to lunch w/MIL. I came home and took a nap. After the nap I started looking again, and walaa, I found them. I thought for sure they were in a Disney bag, but they were slipped in with some papers in one of my drawers, along with the gift receipts. I am in such a better mood right now, knowing that I didn't lose $50.00.

We had some light storms but nothing near what would cause a power outage up by us. Hope she wasn't without power too long.
