No more Easter bunny here, though. :guilty:

My kids have ALWAYS called them "Angel Eggies" ;) Awww, the sweetness of innocent children.

Speaking of that....there still IS an Easter bunny here, although I wish there wasn't. Mike and I are thinking of creeping the kids out though and making it sound EVIL that a bunny could get into the house overnight. ("here kids, let's leave the front door unlocked so the big bunny can get in. hope no robbers realize it's open and get here first!!!!!") :lmao:

Besides, the Easter bunny has failed this year. Didn't get his bunny helpers to make enough Peeps OR Reeses' peanut butter eggs. What's the point in having a basket without those two things? Not a one of them in this town!! :earseek:

Plus with the kids' braces, MOST of the Easter candy is off limits anyway....and they aren't HUGE fans of chocolate. So guess who is going to eat all of their stuff!!! :earseek: !!!
 
Just ran by Costco & saw that they have Banfi for $16.99. I thought that was a great price since I paid $20 before at Kroger.

Well, those might just float OFF of me. LOL I guess I'll have to go to Land's End, they have those long torso swimsuits. I'm the one with the long torso, Kevin has the long legs. We were hoping our kid would turn out "just right". She doesn't have either problem, so I guess it worked.

Jim or Ray ... another prime rib question. I looked at the standing rib roasts at Costco & saw some small ones. Do I leave the bone on it or have the butcher take it off??? I'm SERIOUSLY considering doing one for Easter. Hopefully it won't be $40 down the drain.

I finally decided on a suit. It's a tankini from Lands End. Now I've got to return the others to Sears... so glad I don't have to ship back to LE.

Oh my, no Peeps? That's a disaster! I was in Target a couple of days ago, too. I do have a green and pink vintage bead necklace I was planning to put in the basket, but the basket will be rejected without Peeps!

Yes, Costco. I was quite surprised to see it there. I hope you find it at yours. I was looking for a bottle of wine that I had at dinner the other night ... I only had 2 glasses, not the whole bottle. It was Penfold's Shiraz.

Hmmm....we don't have a Costco, but my parents do. Maybe I'll send them up there for a few bottles. :)
 
Karen, you've posted those pics before. Are they from an Amish clothing site? LOL If it's one of those "sun-proof" clothing sites, I need to go look. We actually should be wearing something like that, all three of us. Especially the glow in the dark daughter.

Just browsing Lands End. The top five sellers in the swimsuit category are swim minis (skirts) and swim shorts, all separates. Hey, we'll be right in style!

Actually, they have Outrigger water shorts with UV protection. Sounds perfect for snorkeling, doesn't it?

I'm having trouble finding clothes for KT that #1 fit her stick figure, and #2 are age appropriate for an 11 yr old. Sorry, but we don't do words across the butt or seductive sayings on t-shirts at the ripe ol' age of 11!!

I thought about getting words on the back of my shorts, but when I realized I could fit the ENTIRE preamble to the US Constitution, I got depressed. For those of you who don't remember it (via Schoolhouse Rock) here it is:

Funny story... one of the guys who was at the meeting with us in Philly this week has a horrible time remembering names, so his trick is always to ask someone who's name he's forgotten, "How do you spell your name again"... of course, he forgets the bartenders name, asks his question, to which the bartender responds... "I'll spell it backward for you... B...O...B"
 
I bumped into my friend at Walgreen's the other day, she was getting Easter goodies. They (Walgreen's) had TONS of Peeps.
As the kids got older, we were putting things like C.D.s in their baskets...they aren't candy eaters. But that's too expensive and they are just too old anyway.

Diana, I think that one swimsuit site has "normal" sizes, too.

I found one at Land's End that I really like....but maybe we should all check with eachother before we buy, or we may just end up with matching suits!
