oh now that's a good topic - best tissue movies...

My top all time favorites..

Love Story
Brian's Song
Life is Beautiful

You know what movie was suprisingly sad was the new version of King Kong. I mean, I know how it ends and I saw the original and the first re-make, but for some reason I was kinda sad at the end of the movie. My wife had never seen any version of King Kong, so she was even worse than I was about the ending :sad1:

I will totally agree about Life is Beautiful...such a good, well-made movie, but it is too sad for us to re-rent.

Unless I'm totally off- Bond doesn't say it, the person making the drink for him does right before serving it, and I do think that was Dr. No.

They cite Goldfinger :confused3 the movie - not the man - the ballot is on the website with who said the quote...I would have thought it was Dr. No (again, the movie not the man), also...

:guilty: Do any of you know anything about Guillain Barre syndrome? They think that my near SIL has it. She is young, and all by herself in Chicago. Her mom has flown up to be with her, but we don't know much about it. Just curious if anyone on here knows anything. Thanks!

oh, BTW, I wish I had been on earlier, I would have loved to added my 2cents to the quotes. The first ones that I could play on my break were a lot of fun! Thanks! ( My husband claims that I am way too full of "useless" knowledge. He hates playing against me in any trivia game that doesn't have a sports catagory!) C-ya in the morning. I am up past most everybody on this board. (I have strange hours! :rolleyes1 )

YEAH! Tomorrow is Friday! It is also Senior skip day at my high school. I can't wait to see who all misses my test tomorrow! Oh well. Night-night. Guess I'll finish my wine by myself and find another board to read or maybe a book. :teacher: I am a nerd.

(I am trying to help get you guys to your goal by posting meaningless, pointless posts! :teeth: ) Hope you don't mind. I'm bored.

Karen,
As they teacher how do you feel about Senior skip day?

I don't particularly care for or against the day. There are so many AP tests coming up that many seniors will be here, so the ones who miss will be those that don't put much emphasis on school. I can tell you name for name which of mine will miss. All I can do is to encourage them to be in school. You have to remember that we are still recovering around here from Katrina. There are not too many places to go. No beaches open; not safe yet. Not many pools fixed up yet; too low on priority lists! So, that helps, but... :moped: kids are kids. And they need to remember that they are only young once.

Hi guys! Still alive and kicking here....finally caught up on the posts. LOVED the trivia, Monica. I didn't do too badly....well, I knew a few of them, anyway.

Jay is also a Gemini...his birthday is June 17. Jared just missed it, his is June 23...he's a Cancer.

Anyway...won't be around much this weekend. Cave Creek is having its annual Fiesta Days weekend, with a parade and rodeo. Yeeee Haw! We're Stockman's Club members, though, so we are at all 3 rodeo performances. Love the bull riding!

So if you don't hear from me, that's where I'll be.

You are gone for the weekend for one reason and I'm gone for another.

Sharon and Lisa are in Alabama for regionals. Mike and Joan are at the Masters. That leaves Matt and I to be bachelors. :cool1:

Basically that means just a longer nap for me. :rotfl:

Good Morning All - I am in desperate need of coffee......as well as some time to catch-up.....can we place the world on hold for a it, pretty please?????

Virgil - we are BOTH celebrating on this cruise - DCL says a few days before counts.....I am also the 25th. And as I will be frantically packing and cleaning on the 25th, my B-Day this year will be postponed until cruising time.
