Well, another busy day! We got up early to meet someone in our representatives office for a Capitol tour. The woman had one speed....fast forward. So we went at breakneck speed through the House office buildings and the House of Representatives gallery. Whew....Up and down stairs and through long tunnels. I was WIPED out at the end of that!! No wonder this woman was 5 feet 5 inches and about 105 pounds!!!

Anyway, after that we went to the National Archives and saw the Declaration of Independence. They really should have written it with a Sharpie as it's fading terribly! Then to Union Station for lunch, and then to the Natural History Museum to finish up some things we missed the first time.

Tonight we're chillin' so tomorrow we can start all over again!

Hi, y'all! Just checking in... I actually started working a temp job today that's going to (hopefully!) keep me busy until the cruise. I was really apprehensive about it because it's still in HR (and I was pretty convinced that I never wanted to do that again), but this is for a REAL company. What a difference! If I were to look for a full-time job, this is where I'd want to be, or at least a company like it. So if I have to work for a while, at least it looks like I'll be happy. Yeah!

OK... off to read the umpteen posts that I've missed. My catch-up will have to become part of my nightly routine!
