Hi All - Went to see the WWII Memorial in DC today. Then walked around the tidal basin to FDR and Jefferson Memorials. Cherry blossoms were not quite open but the weather was cool and partly sunny. Had a wonderful time.

OK... an actual DIS question... (see, I haven't JUST been pot-stirring today)...

In all the time we've spent, we've never seen Fantasmic... is it worth making tomorrow a really long day to see it, or should we just head back toward home once the kids are tired (or the adults are tired... whichever comes first). We are going to hit AK in the AM, and probably MGM later in the day... anybody??

We loved Fantasmic but my favorite part was watching the 1 1/2 year old wearing only a diaper walking up and down the aisle eating popcorn off the floor while his parents saw but chose to ignore it.

I just came in from the mailbox. OhioMinnie has had me standing there all week. Kevin, it's the biggest box of cookies I have ever seen!!! They are excellant!!! I hope everyone gets a chance to try Ohiominnie's cookies.

Ohiominnie, are you trying to make up for all the bad things you said about UofM?

Gosh, I WONDERED what happened to those. I had made the ex-lax cookies for Nick. He's constipated, ya know, and won't take any other sort of laxative. I have to slip them in his cookies....

but the box turned up MISSING....

Make sure you see that. It's my favorite thing to do in WDW/MGM. What a show. Get there early, about 45 min -1 hour before. Don't sit too far down toward the front. Get ready to see a great show. Bring your own glow sticks if you have them.

Well, we bought DH a suit tonight. So, no Tux here for formal night. We figured that if we rent the tux, obviously he will never wear it again. But, with the suit, he could wear that many times.

gaRry still hasn't let me forget that I missed the turn-off to the airport before my first DIS pre-cruise meet with he and Vicki, and therefore missed my plane.

I've made certain to leave well enough ahead of time to never miss another plane again.

Saturday, we missed our plane.

We got to the airport two hours ahead of time, but the lines to check bags were longer than any I've ever seen. We were in line for over an hour and a half and the plane left without us. Not my fault this time!!!

Don't worry, we won't. I can see it now...a bunch of DH just standing there looking at eachother not doing or saying anything. Can't wait.

At least we won't lose them that way!
