scuba.mom said:I think DCL is blocking Palo Reservations for those of us 90 Days out. If someone ends up with an extra slot for the Tea (we talked about a Ladies Tea at Palo's on Thursday), please let me know. Thanks. I guess I got up at 3am on a workday for nothing.

I couldn't reserve Palo either. Wouldn't let me do any reservations. Said "nothing available". I'm bummed. I started booking excursions first. MY MISTAKE. Rookie!!!
scuba.mom said:I don't think you made a mistake. Our "theory" that 25% of the reservations opened up at 105 days, another 25% at 90, 75 and on the ship doesn't seem to be correct. I think all of the reservations for Palo are gone (at least for Brunch & High Tea). If they didn't hold any open at the 75 day mark, I am curious if they will have any open when we board. This seems pretty rough for people without internet access in their homes at 3am on the day they open up reservations. This may make REAS attractive again for people. We did it on the 10 day to get reservations, but didn''t think it was necessary on this trip. Another thing about DCL learned.
CajunGirl2 said:Sharon, I don't think it was blocking y'all out. I'm a 75 day person and never saw anything listed for tea or brunch. I couldn't even get anything to show up for 1-2 people. I had to select 3-4 if I wanted anything to show. The only days listed for dinner were Sun., Mon. & one other day.

The computer will recognize it and then you can manipulate the file however you want. At least that's what I do.....![]()

But..I talked to Vicki tonight (Garry's wife..) and she said that you would have to be the same blood type as Garry to donate for him, unless you are O- (negative) which is a universal blood type. She also didn't think the blood banks would let us "earmark" blood for a specific individual.
But.....they thought that was just about the nicest thing that they had heard in a long time, and if anyone is so inclined, they would be delighted if we donated in Garry's honor.

Hubby is wishing he was going with me. Year before last I was at a conference and stayed at Royal Pacific and he got to go. Just not feasible this year and we don't have anyone to stay with the kids. Oh well -- I will just have to go by myself and have a little fun in between the meetings.
The kids are out on Spring Break this week and I am usually off with them, but this year I am having to work. They will be bored before the week is out I am sure.
