I think I know the problem.

You're supposed to peddle with your "LEGS" not your arms........ :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

HA HA! True. But that happens to me on my bike too. I think I have to lean too far forward and so I tense up my neck and shoulders. I think I need some sort of handlebar extender so I can sit up straighter. :)

What songs would you recommend for getting in the cruise mood and which category?

I've got a huge list of them, but I'm heading to bed. Will get them posted soon. Remind me if I forget. ;)

Yah, creepy. Right up there with the guy that wanted a picture of me modeling some shoes with no stockings on. That would have been really scary, since the shoes were several sizes too small.

I did reply. Just said I don't have any of those pictures and the suit is too small for my son to wear now so I can't get those pictures, but would be happy to get any measurements of the suit if she wanted me to.

Weird.

Can't leave feedback unless they actually buy from you. And that might be a good person to block.

What happens when you block them and they try to bid?

Amazing how much you can get done when you turn off the computer....and have a husband keeping an eye on you!

All the laundry is done, and there was a TON of it. Got some mending done. Finished up my Mom's pictures and then cut them all (they were 3 to a page). I put shade screen stuff on all the patio doors (3 of them) so that the dog can't see out any more. He barks at the birds until it drives me crazy. Glued the rubber feet back on the baby gate. Cleaned up the dining room, ironed the tablecloth (the one that used to be a pretty pale green until I washed it for the first time and it faded to an ugly tan color). And.....I made beef stew for dinner. No one is sick so far.

Watching the Oscars.

And now my butt hurts too, we have a very hilly SD, I'll just wait till tomorrow before cursing DH!!! :rotfl2:

And I did say I probably hadn't ridden for about 25 years - must have forgotten which body parts to use!! :moped:

Ugh. I hate that. I always complain about that too and my parents say "the more you ride the more calloused your bottom gets....it'll get better."

I'm sorry, but the idea of a huge callous on my behind isn't that comforting.

This coming from the people who rode their bikes from Cleveland to Columbus about 7 yrs ago (my dad was 64, my mom was 61!!!!) They said they were going to bike down to visit and I told them they'd better plan on biking home b/c I wasn't driving them home!!!! :) :lmao:

Wow...that is great! I don't think I could make it to the end of the driveway. And it's always my butt that hurts. As padded as it is, that seems so unlikely.

They just had the part of the Academy Awards where they show who died in the past year. That's always depressing. Especially when there are the older actors who were truly great.

should be soon....am I setting Stacey up for it???

Or the ones who are YOUNGER than you are! That's always SCARY!

Off to bed for me. It's supposed to be nice her at the end of the week so I thought of bribing the kids. If they can get 5 days of school done in 4 we'll do something FUN on Friday...

but that means I also need to be on my best or I'll let too much slide with them. :)

Night all!

Wow, the Oscars had a surprise ending! It was Brokeback, George Clooney, Brokeback, Reese Witherspoon, Brokeback, Phillip Hoffman, Brokeback, Brokeback, Brokeback...Best Picture: CRASH!!! I think the people involved in Crash were more surprised than anybody!

I like surprise endings, that was fun. I was just sorry that Joaquin Phoenix didn't win, I thought he was phenomenal in Walk the Line. Did anyone else see that movie?

Even Jack Nicholson was surprised. That was a good one, and no outrageous dresses this year....except at the end, the gal involved with Crash...in the salmon dress...she almost lost the top of it!

I didn't see the movie (Walk The Line) but just from the clips, you could tell that Joaquin did a good job. He's talented, and it often makes me wonder if River would have grown as an actor, also. Such a shame.

I'm heading to eBay.....need to find a peasant blouse. I've been working on making my pirate dress work, but I give up. Just going to buy the top, instead of making one.

Good Monday Morning to All. Thought I would steal the early morning top, but we are not there yet.

Must get up and review the Oscars...did not watch myself...

We had a difficult weekend, with significant problems at Mother's house -- she is having hard time as well...

It is so unfair!
