--Dzne... It was just a sig picture I made using the one you and others have now- the stingrays are cute club one... I changed it to say stringrays are NOT (that part in red) club. LOL

--Thanks to everyone for the prayers. I wish it was something that could be solved quick and I could tell you it was all over... but unfortunately it's probably going to be a long time process... but thank you for your prayers and anytime you happen to think about BBB, that sometimes annoying but always lovable (hehe) chica on Disboards.. spare a prayer for us. Every little prayer helps lots! :) Now the next step is standing up for my little man with the principal tomorrow. I called this conference... she has no idea that the meek mom she's talked to previously is now a Leo mommy with her claws out. I've hit my limit.. I've taken all I can stand, I can't stands no more. LOL
I'll try not to be too hard on her though.. LOL

Matt's birthday isn't until April and because he procrastenated last year on getting his permit, he won't be fully licensed unitl July. But, Jim is fixing the jeep up. Today he ordered a new top for it. (Scuba Mom - I always forget to sign myself in and it automatically comes up to Jim's Screen name)
I thought for a minute there Jim went and pulled "The Jimmy" on us...you remember?? from Seinfeld?? Jimmy doesnt like that...Jimmy wants that...:cool1:

Sandi & Maria - we are also on the 10:00 a.m. shuttle from Radisson. I have had it booked since August. I called again today to make sure we were still on it (7 in our group). She told me that they have 3 different vans. Last time we stayed there, we actually left before 10 -- The shuttles start running early bringing people back from the port from the cruises, so we caught one over earlier than our 10 a.m. time. It seems like it becomes a madhouse and everyone just started lining up and they weren't checking off names. Of course this was 4 years ago and they may be much more organized now.

When we were there in September they were very organized now I need to call to book our shuttle.

Hello Everyone! I "lurk" the thread pretty often. WOW...I have a hard time keeping up with everyone! You are a busy bunch! Any way...We (DHtb, Ds 10, Dd 13 (14 at cruise) and ME!) will be cruising with you in May! :cheer2:

Is there a teen group that is "chating"?..Did I just overlook it? My daughter is a bit bashful and I would like for her to meet others before we leave.

One other little item...why would DCL substitute Nassau for coz...rather than Grand Cayman? You guys have all the answers! :goodvibes

As always, I'll be "lurking"...

Shiann

Welcome, we are DH, DD11, DS8 and I cannot wait for the cruise!!!

Sorry, have to disagree with you. I have one of those 11 year old girls and I think having just one 11 year old boy on the ship is one to many!! :confused3

I agree with you, I also have an 11 year old DD and wish there were no boys between ages 10 and 20!!
Younger would be good though.

My DH would agree with you because we also have a DD9, he has chest pains every time she talks "boys". HOWEVER...I'm glad to see more boys!

We live between B'ham and Tuscaloosa...in the "country" :cool1: :cool1:

Montgomery is really growing! I hope you will be happy! Where are you moving from?
We are an Air Force family, and we have lived in Wichita, KS for the past 2 years. Many other places before now. Originally, we are from the East Coast. I'm a Clemson grad and DH is a UGA grad.

This is ALMOST home for you guys! My best friend and hubby are stationed in Colorado Springs..they just came back from 3 yrs in Europe and 4 in Guam. You are a truly amazing bunch! Needless to say...I'm a BAMA :cheer2: fan (Live too close to T-Town to be anything else!). I think DH will find SEVERAL other DAWGS in Montgomery! Maxwell is a great place!

Pam, have you checked your PMs lately? I sent you one.

I need to know what time you are meeting with Valerie at Apparelart on Thursday. Is that still a go? Don't forget, I'm on Eastern time so there will be a time difference. Just want to make sure I am home for the call.

Thanks.

maria

Okay, Amanda...I'm taking pity on you...this was the post. Now don't shoot me!

Okay...I apoligize...it only took me two minutes to find it.

I don't know why I didn't write this before, but here's what they say about the two Mayan Ruin sites:

Kohunlich ....Located in a secluded jungle setting near the border of Belize, built between A.D. 200 and 900. The visitor center is little more than restrooms and a guard post powered by solar panels.
Check out the elaborate foundations of residential dwellings of the city's elite; the Plaza of the Acropolis, where two temples are aligned with the equinox; and the Temple of the Masks from the 6th century, where 6ft tall stucco masks of the Mayan sun god are remarkably well preserved. (7hrs)
Chacchoben....Opened to the public in 1999, this collection of temples dates back to A.D. 360, and played an important role as a tradin center for wood, jade and colorful birds. There are over two dozen structures, but to date less than 5% of the site has been excavated. The first temple encountered is the temple of Venus, a tribute to fertility. (Stay away, Amanda!) ;)
The pyramids are in an excellent state of preservation, and their distinctive curved edges and soft lines are particularly beautiful. Climbing to the first plateau affords an impressive view of the surrounding area. (4 hrs)

I also read somewhere that the views are pretty from the Kohunlich site, too.

Welcome, Shiann! Along with me is my DH, DD age 16 at cruise time and DS age 12 (almost 13) at cruise time. I think your name is really pretty too...but I am curious...how do you pronounce your sister's name?

I'm with you. This time I would be fully informed of what the Shark Dive consists of and would rather they not do it. I think I'm ok with the Wall Dive idea. If we to Nassau - I know I won't be getting off. Been there, done that.

Note she did not say NO, just "rather they not do it".

Wall flying would be first choice. Shark dive second choice.

Or maybe combine the two. Use the scooters to chase the sharks! :lmao:

Shiann -- I have used Priceline several times in Orlando when we get in late at night.

I have never used Priceline. Always been concerned about not picking my hotel. Has that ever been an issue for you? Has the savings been worth it?

So, now I provide suggestions if I think something looks like fun for them, but it is their vacation too. So, if Matt's idea of fun is eating two meals a night, missing every show and sleeping in Diversions while catching a sporting event, I will celebrate that.

Can I celebrate with you?
