At the airport, heading home...I started running a temp last night, & feel horrid toay. Getting right into bed when I get home. Rita Rudner was too funny last night...even the men laughed.
Been dreaming of where we were a year ago! TTYL

Uhm, I made the mistake of adding up what I have spent on Christmas, you know here and there and there.......WOWZA....I had no idea I was that bad! And that is that I was restraining myself since the cruise is the kids Christmas gift this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I need a 12 step program!

I ran to Wal-mart to pick up stocking stuffers. I forgot about the stuff that you bought for me on the cruise. Their stockings will be pretty full. I started adding up in my mind what I spent and am pretty sure I spent too much too.

That's my problem, too... I just can't seem to remember that the cruise IS the big gift... we booked it so long ago!!! And I keep feeling that the kids need to be able to have stuff to open that's FUN on Dec 25, not May 27!!!!

Tell me I am nuts! For Christmas dinner (I should be cruising) 2 of my 3 sisters and their hubbies, 2 nieces and one boyfriend, and two friends with 8mo twins. Jeanne and I will not make this mistake again.

We have been there twice, we chose this cruise because of the double dip at CC, don't like either of the other ports so both those will be sea days for us, the date etc of this one suited us but I would have prefered going to Grand Caymen, I much prefer the eastern Carribean port - just my opinion.

Little gymnast...........I forgot to give your mom Kelly's meet schedule. She is at the Critique Meet at Lightning City, The Sand Dollar Meet at Disney, The Pike's Peak, in Colorado Springs, Flamingo Fling in Altamonte Springs and The Charleston Cup in S.C. We're excited and a bit nervous, since Kelly made the jump from AAU 4 to USA 7 this year.

All our christmas shopping is done, except for our good friends/neighbors. That should be taken care of this afternoon

Hello well the only meet I have the same is is Sand Dollar meet at Disney. I go Sunday morning, when does Kelly go?

Good morning all!

Emily went back to school today. Of course she went to bed crying last night saying that she needed just one more day at home. She was a little grumpy this morning but finally snapped out of it.

I need to do a little bit of work this morning then get in the kitchen and whip up a batch of praline grahams for my work goodie exchange. We're having our holiday luncheon & goodie exchange today. It's being catered by Moe's Southwest Grill ... mexican ... Feliz Navidad! I'll go to the office just before lunch and will try to stay for a little while afterward.

I remember having a tape (VHS) of several comedians in college. We used to watch it all the time!! Rita Rudner was on there and she was hysterical then too! I love her bit about women and shopping....we can justify buying things...."I bought the dress because I needed change to buy gum!"

Yup....SUPER busy this weekend. The last performance of Scrooge was yesterday. Then the kids had to help strike the set (tear down, put away, clean, etc) Then the cast party. Fun fun fun! All the little girls were in tears because they didn't want it to end. KT made some really good friends. And...apparently....she volunteered our house for a Thursday night sleepover. Luckily, only 3 guests. I made it off easy....one mom had THIRTEEN girls for a sleep over on Saturday night!!!


Now I've got to try to pull off school and Christmas this week. So as much as I'd like my life to slow down, I don't think it's happening!

I got to the house at about 4:30 Phoenix time, put on my nightgown & robe, layed on the couch and told Jay about the trip and then went to bed. I wish I could say I was much better, but unfortunately, worse. Calling the doctor today. Going to have to at least get some cough med before it turns into my usual bronchitis.

But the one that applies to me the most is how women will buy a $300 item on sale for $150, and feel that they saved money, where the husband will only see that they spent money. I had tears at one point, I was laughing so hard.

I have to put my living room back in order before heading for the office. Apparently, my family memebers thought they had a better plan for the dog's playyard. NOT. My reading chair, lamp and ottoman are in the middle of the living room, and the treadmill is blocking the entrance from the dining room to the family room.
But, the house is clean and the laundry is done, so I wasn't going to say anything to them.

Good Morning and Happy Christmas Week

I will need to let Kevin, Jim and Matt post about diving. I was unable to - waves, and more waves and I did not dive.

Key Largo was nice, the weather was warm and it was great meeting up with everyone.

Lots to do at home to get ready for a Disney Cruise party tonight and Christmas festivities.

The worst thing about a show like that??? Sitting there feeling embarrassed because you're old enough to be their Mother!

Although, everywhere we went, Megan and I were asked if we were sisters. She finally asked someone if that meant she looked old, or I looked young! LOL
