Hey Angie!

Sorry I don't have an answer for you on the dance merchandise websites. The place I've always used is on the Square in Marietta - Centre Stage II - they're located inside Eddie's Trick Shop (or Magic shop?)!!! Don't believe they have a website, but you might call them and ask if they carry what you need.

On another note, wanted to say "may the better team win" - of course you and I have differing opinions on the better team :rotfl: I just hope it's a real nail-biter, down to the wire. Both The Dawgs & The Tigers have worked so hard this year - win or lose I hope both teams can feel good about the way they played. :cheer2:

Tori just told me she heard the "s" word for Atlanta tonight - YIKES!! I wonder if all you other cruisers who don't live near Atlanta know what happens when the "s" word is mentioned here? It means there will be no milk or bread in any of the grocery stores!! :rotfl2:

Thanks Laura!

I agree ... may the better team win! I also hope it's an exciting game.

Tonight? Snow tonight? I hadn't heard that one. Good thing DH went to the grocery earlier ... we have milk & bread!

Angie, not sure what a dance box is, a music box perhaps? But I bet you can find one on Ebay! If not, I shop at discdance.com a LOT. They do have gift items.

I looked online a little. It's called a ballet box - a rectangular shaped cardboard box with a vinyl (I think) covering. It has a large compartment that opens at the top for leotard & tights and a small compartment that opens on the side for shoes. I may find something that is more like a bag instead.

Oops! Just realized I'm low on milk AND bread!! Gotta run! :moped:

Don't run out so fast. I just watched The Weather Channel. The high tomorrow is 60 so I don't think it's going to snow tonight. But, it surely is cold & wet out there right now!

It's COLD here. I just turned on the heater. It's 43 degrees outside. :rotfl:

Nope... still won't turn the heat on in my house... just can't do it.

Thursday night, when it got down to 46 or so, I still slept with my sliders open... it was 59 in my bedroom when I woke up... it felt great!!!

Maria should have arrived to good weather this afternoon... its beautiful, and getting warmer! Good thing, cause I've gotten suckered into walking in a Christmas parade tonight... tomorrow we're off to MK for the day... that is IF an unnamed someone gets all of her homework done...

When does Matt get the 'real, all by myself' driver's licence? or did I miss the occasion?

No, you have not missed that occassion. That will happen in July. See, just another reason to fear my children.

We just got back from his testing, 6 hours long. It's official. He is now a second degree and will continue to work towards the third degree. I'm hoping he will put these skills to good use and protect his sister.

...

Sharon would kill me and would not be providing any favors because of all the clothes she was wearing. She is concerned about going to Atlanta for Christmas because it could be in the 50s. She reminds me frequently that we moved to Florida for a reason, warm weather. If she could we would move further south to Central America. She might be warm there.

Angie, while I was at our dance store with Maggie this week- they had a really cute pink ballet box it might have even been princess themed although non-Disney- Maggie wants a dance bag for Christmas, so I was browsing in that section - I will be going back next week to help Santa out- I can see who the manufacturer is. If you still can't find one, I can see if I can take picture and would be able to pick one up for you if you are interested.

Solarcaine Aloe gel is great for "normal" sunburn, but you tend to turn green.

However, I now swear by the second skin product for the bad burns. I used these on my ankles where the burn was raw. It would have been cheaper to buy the company, we must have spent over $100 on the little boxes, but they were well worth it. I wonder if they make larger patches for over the counter use. I have not even blistered - unreal.

The green does sometimes tend to get messy- I wish they could make it without the color.

Now, I do have a fresh burn on my forearm so I thought I'd try this other product-

Is it named 2nd Skin, in a blue box? Was the only one I could find at the local pharmacy.

The patches are a gel coated thing you have to hold in place with something else. I'm using Nexcare Transpore tape to keep it there. The feeling of it on the burn is unusual to say the least, but not uncomfortable.

I'm curious to see if this works better than me using Nexcare's waterproof bandages for the nastier ones. Both do the same thing; keep the burn area moist, but these 2nd skin have something on them where the Nexcare ones just hold whatever moisture they can trap in, I usually put a dot of Neosporin in the middle of the burn before applying a Nexcare.

Monica, if you do happen to go back next week, let me know what you see. She really wants Cinderella but I'm pretty sure that ain't happenin'! I did see a Barbie bag on amazon and a very cute Danskin bag through a sponsored site. I'm sort of leaning toward the Danskin one for now.

coming up for air and on a 24 break - up to 8:00pm -My tension level is sky high after watching so much. Although, I didn't watch as closely or as much as I had hoped because the kids had friends over to play. one was a new friend to have over so, I kept checking on them a bit more because things were a bit rowdy. should have just taken them to the park like they wanted...Bad mom, I was hooked...

Now that I know Ford sponsors the show - it's amusing to see the close-ups, or the quick pans to catch the logo. One scene the darted from a tight close-up on Jack's face to panning right to catch the Ford logo on the car next to his in a parking lot and back...Can tell when the suburbans are being driven vs the expedition - tight shots vs wide angle shots...On the mustang he was driving - the "mustang" brand on the rear bumper was clear and readable from a long distance - can you say "enhanced" :rotfl: Not sure how I missed those obvious logo shots in the first two seasons...

I expected to come back to a ton of posts. I can't believe there has been nothing in over 3 hours! Everyone must be having fun.

Laura, the Dawgs surely looked a whole lot better than the Tigers. I never thought LSU should have been ranked as high as they were. Virgil, your team will be playing the Dawgs in the Sugar Bowl. LSU will be back for the Peach.

Well, I am finally home. I did lots of Christmas shopping while I was in Austin. Now I have to get busy and wrap some gifts and finish our t-shirts for our trip to WDW. It will be hard to stay up with this thread over the next few weeks because I have so much to do at work and and home.

hey all.

home. from narnia pre-screening. rehearsal. OSU men's hockey game.
took us almost 2 hours to make the 30 minute trip.
ice
ice
ice.
many accidents.
one moron sped by us, did doughnuts in front of us. then went backwards down a huge embankment. stuck in two completely stopped traffic jams. slid our way, finally, into our driveway.
whew.
will catch up tomorrow.
