To bad you are not in town long enough for a mini meet. It would have given me another excuse to drive to FTL and go diving.

I wish we could, too. I haven't gotten my docs yet, but I heard them say that they are flying us in on the morning of the cruise. Not sure that I like that idea...but they didn't ask me to be their travel agent!

Remember last year? I couldn't get your monthly newsletter for the first week or so that it was posted. Must be an AOL thing. I signed on to MSN last night and got to see the pictures! Looked like a lot of fun!!

This is just exactly what a fruit cake I am...... I made photocopies of some of the deck plans on the Caribbean Princess, and then marked down on them, the spots that I need to remember to check out! LOL
They have some different areas of their ship where you can stand and look forward (like Jack and Rose on Titanic) and some cool places in the aft. There's a pool on one deck, aft, that I've read gets over-looked by most passengers, so I might make that my hang out on sea days...... Tons of lounges....I never have been one for the glitzy Vegas-type shows, but I'm going to force myself to see at least one, for the sake of documentation. MUST check out their Wine Bar...just for Jim and Kevin. (Sacrifices, sacrifices...)

Trust me....I already have a touring plan in place! LOL

I made the coffee!! Now, in all fairnest, Jim might have been up, just in the bathroom primping!!
We actually did the shore dive for 90min and came back on the kids were still asleep.

My sister just called and said that they were thinking of renewing their WDW annual passes. She was calling to see if my girls would like to go to Disney for Thanksgiving - think she'll see if my parents want to go too. I told her that I would be JEALOUS!!! But, I'm sure I'll be in no position to go to WDW since I'll be recovering from my back surgery. It may work out well though. My parents may still be here taking care of me so they could just drive down to FL with the girls for the long weekend and DH could take care of me.

Whew! All packed, just have the rest of the laundry to finish before I get the kids at 2:00.

My Mom called....they really have my dance card filled. There will be no rest this weekend. BBQ at one brother's....lunch with whole family....brother's ordaination, dinner with other brother....party at niece's.....
My poor Mom was saying "I never hear from anyone unless you're coming!". Awww, they love me!

Hi all!

Just checking in to say HI! I've been busy with work this week ... need to do more work & less DIS'ing .

Got word from MIL that they are now back at home in southern MS. They have drinkable water & electricity again. Some friends are also returning to Slidell, LA today and the wife is returning to work tomorrow. So, some things are looking up for the area.

Glad to hear the "good news"...It will be a long return to normal...We have not picked up from last year yet, projects are still half finished. Should have moved like Kikikaren.....and let the new owners finish!!!!

Might be a good plan, less work for you while you are recovering and some quite time with hubby.....still back surgery (no way that could eve be fun) but the sooner it is done, the better you will feel for our cruise. Your mom will need to cook the turkey before she leaves....
