My sister, dobelover, told me about the 11 night cruise.

Mom, dobelover - Sue, and I are really looking forward to the 2 scoops.

Wow, look at all the planning I missed! Yes, I'd go on a "girls only" cruise, but I don't think I can swing Cat 1 or 2 fare! Can we go Cat 6, two to a cabin? Or does six in the Walt suite work out the same? Sorry, I have no idea about changing the names. That's a question for the main board, I'm afraid. I think maybe, as long as the reservation name stays the same.

I still like the idea of Food & Wine sans kids too.

I have no air conditioning! Can you believe that? I went to the auction yesterday, and a construction company building in our neighborhood turned off the water. My cooler ran for four hours with no water, and now it's making weird sounds. Kevin will not be happy. And I'm even less happy, because he doesn't get home until Monday night. I was going to do a picture marathon for listings today, but if it gets too hot, that won't work.

I need to be chained up in a room somewhere. I can't decide if my brain is working too much, or not at all. But here's a question: If I booked the 11 night cruise, (or on any cruise for that matter) can you change the people that are going later? In other words, right now they have Jay and the kids and I. What if just Jay & I decided to go, or what if we did decide to do a girl's trip? Does DCL let you do that? How much do they charge for it? And, if they do charge...why? What's so tough about changing names on a reservation?

I sure hope so, right now I have the whole famile booked for out 09/16/06 Double scoop...but I am certain that the kids will not be joining us, and I am not even certain that Steve and I will be able to go, I may have to it into a girls only cruise as well.....................or transfer it to the week of the 17th on the Winder (hinthinthint)

I'd even take a women only trip to Disney...Heck I'd even take a trip to the local hotel down the street...I'm not picky!!!

One more week of summer vacation then my 9 month vacation starts

We debated about cancelling the double scoop cruise and book the 11 day wonder cruise... NAHHHH!!!!!!! think we are going to hang with the double scoopers and our plans.

ugh Diana! That does not sound pleasant at all! The airconditioner I mean, not Kevin getting back!<insert pokey stick smiley here> I forgot to add that I definitly could not swting cat 1 or 2 fare. I'm happy just o be on the ship, so any cat would do for me.

Well this will be a busy Sunday for us. It is my DS #3 Max's birthday...he is 6 today! I can not believe it! And then next will be Taylor, who will be 9 on Sept 9th...time flies when you start having kids, I tell ya!

Maybe we should make this a MOMS ONLY cruise!

My sister and I did a 'sister's cruise' (no kids, no hubby) 2 and a half years ago... nothing against the rest of my family, but it was the best vacation I ever had! We never laughed so much (and we laugh all the time!!!).

No way I can afford 2 cruises in one year plus a new house... but I sure wish I could!!!

Amanda, have fun at the concert! I'd go, but 14 year olds no longer think Hillary is cool. Taylor is the perfect age for that.

Perfect - Now the Port Orange families can finally meet in total (in Orlando). By then the girls will have a month of school done and can compare teachers, friends,etc. Maybe I will bring Lisa over to watch one of the games Elizabeth cheers at (I am sure she will know some of the girls from her cheer days). When is her first home game? What division is she cheering for?

She's cheering for the Pee Wee division, (which is the same division that Ray coaches in football)... their first game is the last Sat. in August (which is the jamboree... total chaos... I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but parents who HAVE to fight the traffic and parking nightmare...) Can't remember offhand whether the next home game is Labor Day weekend or if that's an away game. Lots of former Sweetwater girls cheer on her squad... I'm sure Lisa knows them.

Is Lisa excited about tomorrow? Elizabeth's clothes are out, her bag is packed, and she is READY TO GO!!! (And driving me crazy)!!

Monica...you are not making this tough decision any easier! I stayed up late last night, reading about Barbados and St Kitts. I know we would love them. There's just no way we can take the kids out of school. Maybe we should make this a MOMS ONLY cruise!

Oh boy would I like to go along! I think DH would protest way too much, though as I'm already planning an all girls' cruise in November 2007. It's only going to be a 4-day, since that's all the time my 2 DD's can take off work. DH is already complaining because he can't go on that one with us. I've got my request into inventory control for 3 SPH rooms already, but not sure if I'll have enough 'girls' to fill them. The 2 DGDs are 'iffy' as are 2 nieces. Maybe if I start mentioning a MOM'S ONLY 11 day for next year, DH will slowly get used to the idea.

Sue, so far I'm OK. It's an overcast day, but I think I may be going to a movie in a couple of hours. For Elvis, the hotter the better. It won't get that hot in the house.

Alicia did all the dives except the Spiegel Grove one. She locked herself in the hotel room and read and watched TV. Just like the rest of her summer!
