I hope that all our friends down at WDW have fun today. I believe tonight is the big group dinner!

Oh how I wish I was there, instead of spending yet another Saturday making sure my house is sparkling clean. The good (hopefully) news is that we've got people coming tomorrow to take their 3rd and final look at the house, and if all goes well, they'll submit their bid.

We are going today to take another look at the house that we've got the contract on, take some measurments, scope out what will go where and what we need to buy to fill the 1000 sq ft we'll be gaining. (furniture shopping... Haverty's here I come!) The owners are moving out today... making me MORE impatient to get my house sold!!! Please send prayers and PD our way!!

45 weeks... it sounds so much better than it used to!!!

Well, at least I got a TOP out of it... and shared it with Mary!

Hello from WDW....
We saw Dancind (Diana) and her daughter, Justmestace(Stacey) and her son and daughter, The Scubas and their daughter, and 2 from our 10 day cruise (Cruisingoose and her daughter). Some of us ate late at Cape May buffet at the YBC - and tonight we all go to Spoodles for dinner.....

Sorry that all can't be here - as it is really nice to see everybody!!!

We'll try and post pictures and an update tomorrow.

Hi Folks - Happy Sat. and all at WDW have fun.

Taking a break from cleaning - glad I don't have to sparkle to sell the house.....bad enough one room at a time. The computer is back up, finally, DH is still making storage units...where does it all come from. So, instead of one messy room, we now have 3 with stuff everywhere - oh well.

Everyone ENJOY Tonight....we have friends, a yard bird on the grill and lots of wine//// Until tomorrow.

Yes it was!

Called DW and DD about 10pm their time and no answer. Must have been in the middle of dinner! Talked to them earlier and they revealed a strategy for the parks. Go to the park that had a late night the morning after. Guess they sailed through Magic Kingdom and got to ride all the rides they wanted in relatively short order.

It's been a quiet weekend on the thread.

Kiki, good luck with the house showing!

Yesterday we were out & about most of the day. It's a tax-free weekend here in GA. So we went buy the necessary parts to fix the computer. We're up & running again with a faster processor than before! We also went to an outlet malll & were able to find Emily a pair of mary janes for the winter time. She's got my narrow foot. Poor thing was in tears yesterday because she wanted a new pair of sandals but we couldn't find any to fit.

Last night Bruce mentioned to the girls that we'd be going on a Disney Cruise next year. Emily started crying & said that she didn't want to go because she was scared that the boat would get a hole in it and sink. Where did an almost 5 year old come up with that???!!! Bruce calmed her down by saying that there were little boats on the big boat in case that ever happened. I mentioned something the kids' club. She said that she didn't want to go unless I could go too. I told her to talk to her friend Sami about it. Sami will be going on her 3rd Disney cruise in Sept. Hopefully by next year she'll change her mind about going to the club. We watched the DCL video last night.

This morning we went to Wal-mart for school supply shopping. What a madhouse! We're trying to get the girls settled for a nap now. When they wake, we'll go furniture shopping.

We left here Friday afternoon and headed to my parents. Went to Longhorn for dinner, then out to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (again)

I had a bit of a stiff neck and Saturday I ended up bed bound for the morning b/c I could not get out of bed without the thing spasming and knocking me over (literally) I typically have a very high pain tolerance but this was beyond pain! Luckily (?) my mom had some muscle relaxants left over from when she hurt her back and I took those and, after sleeping for a few hours, at least could get up without intense pain.

Then in the evening we headed to my parents 50th wedding anniversary party. I know I seemed rude b/c I couldn't converse with many people....between not being able to look left and/or right plus the side effects of the drugs, I was a real joy to be around.

We came home late late late and then got up early to go to church---KT was supposed to hook up with a camp buddy but she ended up not making it to church. Did find out, sadly, that KT's cabin counselor's husband died suddenly last week though. 52 yrs old. KT was friends with her daughter.

So that's my update and why I haven't been around much.

We just got back form the DIS Meet. Last night we all had dinner at Spoodles and then off for ice cream at Beaches and Cream (Kevin, sorry we missed your call). Ended up enjoying Banfi in the Solarium at BC. We had the Solarium all to ourselves and had a great time just sitting around and watching Stacey and the kids. Did you know that Stacey can write "Send more Banfi" backwards on windows?

This morning the early birds went over to Epcot and did Soaring and Test track. We than made it back for breakfast at Cape Mays for a group character breakfast. The things I learned are that Francis loves oatmeal, Stacey loves Minnie Mouse, and that Sharon would rather do a group breakfast than spend time in the park with just me.

Matt did not make it over this past weekend so he is going over tomorrow to spend a couple of days with Diana and Alicia so back to WDW tomorrow for me. It's great living near WDW to meet everyone!

I'm sure others will post more of the details. I just don't want to get in trouble posting things that should stay at WDW.

Kevin, Mike my neighbor is going to get a GPS. He is looking at a Garmin. BestBuy has the 2720. He wants me to spend some time with yours this weekend since he likes to buy from Costco. The things I have to do!

My son, Dale, always has to be here the first two weeks of August because that is when they start marching band practice. Always a busy time.

Speaking of that, when does everyone's schools start. The High School starts on August 15, by my daughter who is going into 6th grade starts on Friday, August 12. They let the 6th graders go in by themselves this day so they can get used to the school.

Speaking of that, when does everyone's schools start. The High School starts on August 15, by my daughter who is going into 6th grade starts on Friday, August 12. They let the 6th graders go in by themselves this day so they can get used to the school.

Oh, I guess it all depends on when we get around to it. My materials are *supposed* to ship tomorrow, but I've been with this company for 5 years and I doubt that will go smoothly. If it wasn't such a good curriculum, I wouldn't deal with their hassels, but it's top notch, so we go through the pain every fall. My online school will turn on August 15th. Debating whether to start then or just wait until we're back from the cruise and Disney---which would mean a September 19th start date. Hmmmm. No vacations planned this fall/winter, so getting a jump start isn't so important, but I love being ahead so I don't fall behind and have to play catch up.

I guess it will depend on the weather and how warm the pool is if we start August 15th or September 19th!

Wow Jim. Your school systems does start early. When do your kids get out of school? My daughter's last day is 5/24 and Son's last day of finals is on 5/25. Of course, I am hoping we can fly out on the morning of 5/25 for the cruise, if not, we will go for a late afternoon flight. I like to get down there early and have a day to just chill out before the cruise starts.

School starts here tomorrow, 8/1. I don't know what happened to the summer this year. It seems like school was just out. DS is starting his senior year in high school, so I'm sure this school year is going to fly by, as well. Maybe that is a good thing, since we cruise two days after his graduation.
