DH grilled a molasses-marinated pork tenderloin tonight. It was YUMMY! I finally bought all of the ingredients to make a creme brulee. I'll try that tomorrow. I also bought a dessert wine to go with it.

Went to the neighbors tonight for dinner. Pork Marsala. I helped him build an entertainment center so this was pay off.

For dessert we did a tasting. Standard ruby port vs. 20 year old tawny port. The tawny won! Similiar taste but the 20 year old was so very smooth.

I'll pick up some next week in CR, duty free!

Tomorrow we take Lisa to gymnastics camp (surprise!) near US. While there we are going to stop by City Walk and Marguritaville.

My turn for a picture. Here I am finally getting to meet Grandma Lightbulb (also named Mary) and her DH Butch. Not only will they be sailing with us on the Double Scoop cruise, but they'll be joining us for the DVC Member Cruise this September. I've updated the web page with this photo and also a photo from our pre-cruise meet with the Scuba's.

Let's see, dinner, I can actually contribute something good to this conversation - I didn't fix it - went down to Galveston Bay, picked up fresh shrimp from the docks and joined friends for fresh shrimp - boiled and fried. Also hushpuppies and coleslaw and sangrihitas (margaritas with sangria) yum!

Scoopie and Maggie crashed after a busy day at the SpaceCenter and then joining their friends for dinner tonight. I'm sure Scoopie will post tomorrow with even more pictures of his adventures.

Watching the race from home last night we were really glad we didn't go for two reasons. 1) we were dead tired! 2) the skies opened up during the second half of the race which was already at 9:30 pm or so. At this point we just turned off the tv and went to sleep.

Good morning everyone!!

It's been a couple of days since I posted. A little crazy around here. You guys are sure posting a ton of pages. I can't keep up with most of them. Mostly fluff anyway.... The weather has been fantastic. Don't come around here with that Jeep!!! The pool temp went down 12 degrees last week due to cold nights, but is slowing making it's way back up to 82 degrees. Lovin' it...

Construction update:
Things are coming along around here. DH is working on the plumbing and the electrician has one more day until he's done with the roughing. Then we could request our framing/mechanical inspection and carry on with the insulation and sheet rock. That's when the REAL mess begins. If anyone has ever had drywall/sheet rock (depending on which part of the country you're from), they know the dust gets EVERYWHERE!! Right Kevin? My DH just made an awesome proposal, no not that, the poor guy is too tired at night to even think about that. We have an extra walk-in closet in our bedroom (can you believe it? ) that would've just collected junk...well he thought that we could put the washer/dryer in there!!!! He really does love me. And him being a plumber and all...not extra charge!! What a guy. He's my hero. Now, I don't have to go down 3 flights of stairs to do the laundry. Life is good.​

Well, back to work and getting breakfast going. This is our first weekend day where we don't have to be at baseball. Camp starts on Tuesday. So, we have tomorrow too for lounging.

Wait a minute. I get to rip off another rung on our paper chain for our cruise. How many weeks left? Mary, where are you with your update...I miss you. Probably too early after that great vacation they had. Love the pictures by the way. Is it 47 weeks???
