Surprise...Matt actually called home last night. All we really got out of home is that he is doing stuff with people. Same story every time. He did say he mailed a father's day card.

All he really wanted to talk about is the upcoming "Boys Trip" the two of you will be enjoying when you go down to visit him in early July. I know you will have fun, because as always - it's all about the kids!!!!

Especially now that they will all be TWO years older! :earseek:
Proud to say....no lost keys on this last cruise, and since there weren't any DIS buddies to hang with, the kids were in their beds as soon as the Stack's activities were over. Whew!
Does this mean that the "best time ever" was not had?

Better for you!!!

Since Scoopie couldn't go with us on the Mexican Riviera (otherwise engaged), I took along a picture of him. You can see him lounging on our verandah.....

His picture had fun! LOL But my family thinks I'm nuts!

:earseek: You actually took a picture of a picture, sitting in a chair!! :earseek:

Nudge, nudge, more than just your family!!! But who is counting! :earseek:

So far, their "best time ever" was Christmas, because...just like me...they had "friends" onboard. I think they still had a good time, just not AS good.
Scoopie had a GREAT time! Well, his image, anyway. I have one shot of him resting on the bed, and one looking out to sea, too.

The kids, btw, are more looking forward to WDW next month than they were the cruise!

So, your mother is tearing her hair out, dad is silently freaking and our dear Kiki is lounging by the pool???
NICE!! :rotfl2: You go girl!

Nah... they knew I couldn't get tooo lost (its a small island, and the ships pull right up to the main street)... besides, when you are the only kid on the ship, every crew member knows who you are and spoils you rotten. (Did you know that there was an entire room in the galley JUST for the Italian cookies that they served before dessert????? Been there.) As soon as they went to board the ship, the guy there told them I had already gotten on.

See my above post....there are more pics of Scoopie! And, if you didn't know it by now....I AM a bit touched in the head!

I believe Scoopie is checking our Alaskan cruising for us since we were talking about it yesterday. :) He's with Sue and her family on an Alaskan cruise. They left last Wednesday - don't know when they are due back.

Do you know what line they are crusing on? We will need a report from Sue when she returns as to what she did or did not like about the line they were on.

Lost are those "good ole days"!! Just look at the poor girl in Aruba......

Now I can't find the post, but someone did ask what I sell on Ebay. I have a large doll collection started when Alicia was born, and I have bought and sold vintage dolls on Ebay for almost 10 years. I've been a Powerseller for years. Since I quit working about a year ago, I have ramped up my Ebay sales, and started attending estate sales, thrift shops, yard sales regularly to find items to sell. You've got to be an expert on something to buy it for resale, or you lose your shirt. Dolls are very few and far between. So, I picked vintage clothing, something not too many other sellers seemed to be after, and something I enjoy learning about. Now, I wish I had picked something else. It's fun, but SO MUCH WORK.

In my experience, the vast majority of collectables sellers on Ebay are just like me, older, and with health issues that make them unable to go to an office anymore. I actually participate on the Ebay boards too, so I've gotten a feel for the folks that sell. The majority are honest, and really trying to be good sellers. It's very frustrating for us to see the scams that go on, and it would be great if buyers were more educated about how to find a good seller.

OK, soapbox off. Kiki, hope you don't still think I'm a freak after you meet me. But the Scubas might tell you different, hee.

Now back to your regularly scheduled fluff.

Yeah... what he said.

No, ebay is perfectly fine ... glad you are successful at it.

OK... so I just went over to e-bay (never been there)... and what is the first thing I find on there... a DCL Trash Can... and I thought I was cruise-obsessed!!!!!!

Karen (kiki) - you might have said it before but I don't remember. What line did you used to sail with?

Someone hand Mary that wooden spoon! She's trying to stir the pot! :teeth:

Go ahead, Mary.....I'll let you have the honor of telling them where the picture of the picture of Scoopie was........

I wish I could make money selling things on e-Bay. I just don't have the patience to deal with it. It's probably a lot more work than it looks like!
