Thanks. Short, sweet, and true. :love2:

You are welcome! I hope she appreciates all the hard work and effort that we both put into that work of art!

I actually spent the evening reading a book instead of the boards. OK, well maybe I did catch up before picking up my book. Got the new Janet Evanovich book "Eleven on Top". ...

Sandi, is this a new Stephanie Plum book?

Yes, it is the latest Stephanie Plum. I started it last night and am about 1/2 way. Probably will stay up tonight and get it finished. It will go out on the library shelves on the 21st. I've had my name on the list for 4 months and am number 289. I guess I can cancel that request, now.:)

Since Scoopie couldn't go with us on the Mexican Riviera (otherwise engaged), I took along a picture of him. You can see him lounging on our verandah.....

His picture had fun! LOL But my family thinks I'm nuts!

HAHA that is funny! Sooooooo do you have any other pics from your cruise that yo uare willing to share?

Serious, cruise - related, non fluff question.

Reading the last few posts about quiet vs noisy decks etc, what are the better ones to be on? Last (oh yes, and first) cruise we were in 6142 aft and loved it - so I booked it again for out November cruise - :cloud9: Yes we had REAS.

But what is really the best deck - our group has 10 of us on deck 7, with five on deck 6 and then 2 each spread around on decks 2,5, and 8.

Is 7 as good (better than 6)? :confused3

Just wondering and don't feel like searching through all the other threads to find an answer. Not that I am thinking of changing because we selected our cabin for the next cruise while standing on shore at Nassau.

Thanks bunches.

OK - back to Fluff.... :Pinkbounc

Now I can't find the post, but someone did ask what I sell on Ebay. I have a large doll collection started when Alicia was born, and I have bought and sold vintage dolls on Ebay for almost 10 years. I've been a Powerseller for years. Since I quit working about a year ago, I have ramped up my Ebay sales, and started attending estate sales, thrift shops, yard sales regularly to find items to sell. You've got to be an expert on something to buy it for resale, or you lose your shirt. Dolls are very few and far between. So, I picked vintage clothing, something not too many other sellers seemed to be after, and something I enjoy learning about. Now, I wish I had picked something else. It's fun, but SO MUCH WORK.

In my experience, the vast majority of collectables sellers on Ebay are just like me, older, and with health issues that make them unable to go to an office anymore. I actually participate on the Ebay boards too, so I've gotten a feel for the folks that sell. The majority are honest, and really trying to be good sellers. It's very frustrating for us to see the scams that go on, and it would be great if buyers were more educated about how to find a good seller.

OK, soapbox off. Kiki, hope you don't still think I'm a freak after you meet me. But the Scubas might tell you different, hee.

Now back to your regularly scheduled fluff.

That was me that asked, thanks for sharing. I was very curious. Would you be willing to PM me your seller name? I would love to check out what you have.

I guess since you have read it so quickly, that I can assume that it is as funny as the other books?

We have always been on deck 6. Never had any problem with noise. I just don't want to be below anything major. I would think that deck 7 would be fine as that is mostly rooms with room above you but deck 8 rooms.

Let Stacey have all the noise in your deck 8 Roy suite! :rotfl:

Our favorite rooms are the navigator verandahs which can be found on decks 5, 6 and 7 aft. We've always done either 6 or 7. No real preference at all.

Thanks Checked the website and found out that we are below - nothing really - it looks like outside seating for Topsiders. But as you said, there is another deck with folk that have deck chairs and pictures of Scoopie between us and deck 9.

Irene, I have been on Deck 2, deck6 and deck 7...so far I have had no problems on any deck.....one thing that is constant is that I have been midship and I like that! Honestly, I think that I am just so thrilled to be on board DCl that it has never really mattered to me just so long as I am on the ship!

Thanks to you too Mary - We only have one cruise under our belts, but like the navigator verandahs lots....Can't see how you can have a bad cruise on Disney regardless of where you stay.

Hum, A bad day on a Disney Cruise, is beats a fabulous day anywhere else? :earsboy:

Earsboy added to be in compliance with A-law....Don't want the DSC police to come git me!

No folks, a moment of seriousness for a while - I post a cruise related question and I have all sorts of information flowing within the time it takes to comply with the 40 second rule for me....

Who said we were fluff!!!!! :earboy2:

Thanks!!!!! :disrocks:

That's what I have said in the past when someone complains about too much fluff. Sure we have lots of fluff but when there is a question you have lots of people to answer it. And it doesn't have to be about cruising.

Last year Kevin helped Karen (ohiominnie) with some drywall issues (hence the name handsome handyman)..

Hey you all, I forgot to tell you all what happened on our 1st day at the parks. What a way to start a vacation. This would have been Saturday May 28th at MGM studios. I guess about 930ish? We parked and headed to the tram. I noticed a man moaning, but I thought he was just laughing. All of a sudden he fell, and I still thought he had just tripped. It wasnt until the female he was with started panicing and screaming for help. He was on the ground having a seizure of some sort. My friend Heather went to the woman and started trying to calm her, as others were on the ground trying to help the man. I whipped out my phone to call 911 and get the man some help. People were asking the lady if he had any problems and she said no. When I finally got through to 911, it went something like this
"911 whats your emergeny"
ME: " I need an ambulance at MGM studios please there is a man on the ground having a seizure"
THEM: " WHere are you at ma'am."
ME "MGM studios on Disney property in Orlando"
THEM" What is the address ma'am"
ME" I do not know the physical address we are in the parking lot of MGM STUDIOS"
THem " HOLD on while I connect you"
at that point WDW security had arrived at the scene and said they had things under control. I hung up since I did not seem to be getting anywhere with 911. About 2 mins later they did call me back to make sure I did not need help anymore.
I was shocked with as many tourists that are in and out of there, that 911 was not more efficient. I would think they get many calls from wdw property? Is anyone else shocked by that or am I just naive? It left me hoping that I never have to call 911 for anything more serious or there may be a problem....

:tilt: Well have a great night all, I am signing off to wrestle with that cruise dress of mine. It is presently in pieces which bear no resemblance to the picture on the cover of the pattern. (Of course, I bear no resemblance to the picture of the model on the over either) :rotfl2:
